Dear Lord please heal & bless Katie-Bob. Give her courage & strenght to get past this. Bless this family with the love, joy & laughter of children. Amen

Dear God: I know the pain she is experiencing, and love her enough to beg for intervention. She and her husband want children so bad, but before children, she has to have good health. I know the battle she has to lose weight, and how hard it is for her. She needs your divine intervention, God, more than anything this world can offer her. Please surround her with your angels, and feed her strength. Please use your power to return her glucose and insulin levels back to normal, so she and her husband can bring another miracle into this world. Please help KatieBob, God. She tells me of her pain and her wavering faith. She needs your intervention to strength her resolve and her faith. Knowing that people can ask for miracles from you and they come about, I ask all these things for her. Amen.

I also have suffered from this condition for many years and it's symptoms. I, through the progressive treatment of a brilliant doctor, was able to conceive two beautiful children, and I wish that this woman would also be guided to a practitioner who could help her in the same way, it that is Your Will. Amen

I have it too. My doctor told me that I would have to work twice as hard as other women to lose a little bit of weight, because my body believes its pregnant due to the hormonal upset. I found that not eating carbohydrates dramatically balances my blood sugar (diagnosed with diebetics this year). I use the book by susanne somers; Get Skinny. When my blood sugars are down to almost normal then my body will let me lose weigh. to add to the above i meant to say that I was diagnosed with PCOS 15 years ago and was just diagnosed with diebetics this year. It's just got to be connected. In my 20's I had trouble getting pg., was tested, and the next step was to take a fertility drug that the doctor pushed. I didnt want to have to take that so I had a blessing from the Mormon missionaries where they lay their hands on your head and annoint you with oil and they prayed that I would have children. I was pg 6 weeks later and know that it was a miracle. I had a baby girl. The doctor told me that I shouldnt have been able to get pg. but that blessing from the Mormon missionaries is what gave me this miracle. It was a very powerful spirit filled blessing.

Dear Lord, IN Jesus's name I pray, please bless Katie-Bob and her Husband with the strength to deal with Katie-Bobs illness and grant them peace and health. I love You and I Thank You.

I pray for Katie-Bob, because I feel her pain. I, too, have PCOS and pray for anyone who has this horrible, heart-breaking disease. Please guide her into health, happiness, and peace. I pray~

I seek prayer for all people who suffer from cancer. A very special friend of mine who is about to undergo treatment for a tumour of the uterus. I ask you to join me in prayer for her, and for all who are being treated for cancer, that they may sense God's closeness and the love of their friends and families. Grant them the Serenity to Accept the things they cannot change, the Courage to Change the things they can, and the Wisdom to Know the Difference.

I too had suffered this little known disease and was told I would neve have a child........That was 12 years ago with 4 years of anguish in trying to conceive...God gave me a baby and 2 years later QUADRUPLETS!!!
DO NOT GIVE UP....With God all things are possible!!
This disease although not fatal is to the upmost in frustrations but medical science and GOD will come together to make this dream become reality!!

I also have PCOS-I too gained over 100 pounds from this disease, but lost every bit of it when(through fertility) I got pregnant and delivered. I am 35 and the Doctors don't speak highly of women my age with this disease and don't promise good results in trying to get pregnant, but you see GOD knows what is in store for us, he is faithful and he is merciful, he blessed my husband and I with a beautiful baby this last May. She is healthy and I use this experience as a testimonial to all those women out there desiring this most honorable blessing.

It is written in your Word, lord that it is your will to heal disease, as long as the person is obedient to the Word and has the fear of God in their heart. I pray Katie-Bob will seek you Lord for her healing, and I pray for great faith, the kind that can move mountains. I ask you Lord for her healing, also, and for the blessed gift of a child. as a POCS sufferer myself...i understand and appreciate all Katie-Bob is going through..i will pray that God will help heal You and give You all that You desire........Amen

I am a PCOS sufferer too and I am thinking of Katie... please let her know amazing things do happen, I was pregnant in my teens (gave birth age 18)and have a beautiful daughter, her father and i have been tried for a second baby since i was 19 years old and it was only when we began fertility investigations we discovered I have PCOS and don't ovulate. I have under gone fertility drugs, surgeries to no avail.

Please let her know miracles DO happen, i have been told i can only have children through IVF yet i have one daughter who is about to start first grade in september!

Katie and Bob, I can truly relate to what you're going thru. My husband and I have been married since 1998, have not used birth control through now and we still haven't gotten pregnant. I was diagnosed with PCO in 1996, after not having a period for two years following my discontinuing PCBs. I knew that has been the underlying cause. I have countless challenges with my weight. but have persisted and lost about 50 lbs (the first time in 1997) and aprox 30 over the past 7 months. I finally saw a GYN that was willing to listen to and help me. Last June she put me on Metaformin (a med for type 2 diabetics) to help regulate my insulin and periodically gave me Provera. I took the Metaformin from June 2002 to September 2002 1 to 4 times daily. By November I was having a period regularly. So far I have been regular and I've gone from a size 16-14 (several years ago, I was a size 18-20). I'm really optimistic that my cycle will continue to be regular. It's been hard journey, but I'm optimistic that it won't be long before my husband and I become parents. Don't yout too dispair. I will pray for you two daily. Try to stay positive. Go to your doctor and ask him about Metaformin and any other meds that are being used to help with who suffer with PCO. If your doctor doesn't want to give it to you find one who will. Dear Lord, Please bless this couple with a beautiful soul. I feel for her. I thank you each day for the beautiful soul that I have brought into this world. She is such a sweetheart. I too have this disease. I have become pregnant twice since I had her with no success. The first one was real bad, I ended up having a tubal pregnancy and the tube had to be removed and the second pregnancy, I lost the baby at 16 weeks and have tried unsuccessfully for the last two years to conceive. I too am just like you, I would love to have another precious little one. May God Bless you and may you become pregnant soon with a healthy baby. Take care and keep your chin up. God's will be done. I am so encouraged by all of the support from women who have and are living with this challenge. I am 48 years old. I was told at the age of 17 that I would not be able to have children because of polycystic ovaries which prevented me from becoming pregnant, and an incompetent cerevix which would prevent me from carrying a pregnancy to full term if by some "miracle," I did get pregnant.

I was not married and I had only went to the doctor because of my "female" problems. This news really upset me because I had always assumed that I would get married and have as many children as we wanted.

While diabetes was in my family both maternal and paternal, I was not told of the connection between my condition and diabetes.

A few years later, I did get married. I am a "faith" walker and I did not really accept the earlier diagnosis fom the doctors. When we did not get pregnant within the first year, I decided to do something about it. I did what I had been taught to do; I went to the Bishop (my pastor) and told him what I had been told years before. The Bishop and his council prayed for me, layed me on the altar and anointed me with oil. During the prayer, they layed hands on me across my stomach and prophesied that I would "be fruitful and multiply."

I became pregnant wihtin one year and had six more pregnacies over the following years. Three of my pregnacies were successful; I have three daughters, all healthy adult women. They are my "gifts."

This year, I was diagnosed with diabetes. I have spent the last 25 years fighting it but after a long struggle with a chronic illness, I gained weight, (100+ lbs.) and I have not been able to lose it. Along with the diabetes, is hypertension and high cholestrol.

I know that there is some scientific and medical explanation for all of this, however, I am going back to the altar with the faith that took me all those years ago; the faith that let me get up off of the altar knowing that God was going to do what I had asked Him to do. I am going t leave the "weight" on the altar! I am not expecting to have any more children, but I am healed today in the name of Jesus Christ, from the diabetes, the hypertension, and the high cholestrol! I am also healed from every illness, disease, and condition that the enemey has tried to bring against me!

I pray that all who will believe with me for total healing and deliverence, will agree right now in the name of Jesus Christ, that we are free from the symptoms also and there is no more even a trace of the thing.
