The Unemployed
Pray for the Jobless

Let us pray for those who are without employment and in praying for the unemployed, let us hope that God will not only provide them with employment, but with the job that He wills them to have and that they will open their hearts to hear.

Heavenly Father, we come to day thanking you for providing all of our needs. Thank you Lord for this wonderful and glorious day you have shown forth to give us. Thank you for being important in my life. I ask forgiveness of all my sins. And I accept your forgiveness. Lord I come on behalf of the unemployed. Father you know our needs before we ask, Father I know that it is your will that your children labor for your cause. We know you are the source and the job is the resource. We ask that you show favor to the unemployed. Father we ask for the unmerrited favor that is spoken in the holy bible. Though the employer says we have no vacancies, I ask that you open the doors...Father in the name of Jesus we pray....Amen

My Precious Lord, In this troubled time of unemployment, open my heart to the truth, and let me always be accepting of Your guidance. I count on you to help me through the tough times and to share in my good times. Please take my life and shape it into something good. Lead me to what You would have me do. Help me to examine my life to see what my strenghts and weaknesses are so that I may correct my faults and grow in Your wondrous light. Father,I ask that you be my refuge in this time of trail, and a constant support as I deal with the pressures of this world. Since losing my job, I have felt lost and unprotected often, and I need You to shield and strengthen my life through the power of Your Holy Spirit. AMEN

and P.S. Could You please send me a good job that pays well? *giggle*

Dear Lord,
I have been laid-off twice this past year. It has been jarring to say the least. I've been on a few interviews, only to end up disappointed yet again. It seems like some of these employers lack empathy and it is making me upset. It's making me lose ability in myself. I am trying so very hard to be patient as well as have faith. Please help me as I'm facing foreclosure. I really need my financial needs to be met as well as my spiritual needs. And lastly, please help everyone here because we're all in the same boat. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I ask for prayer and send prayer for the unemployed. I have been unemployed since October 2008; since, I have also lost my home, my farm animals, my son and only child to a tragic car accident, and now, exhausted all my unemployment benefits. My car is about to be repossessed and can't pay any of my bills. The long-term unemployed are suffering and the government has left them out in the cold! Your prayers for my situation are most deeply and gratefully appreciated!
