I pray that angels complete hedge around Jason Drake and keep him safe. I pray that God use him as a beacon of light; to break down feelings of hatred and fear among the Iraqi people. I pray that angels continue to protect our troops. I pray for God's Will in this entire situation.

Heavenly Father, I come before you, now to lift up Jason. I pray your hedge of protection around him. I also lift up Lauren, Lord. Comfort her while he is away. I pray, Lord, your blessing upon all sons & daughers in the military, serving away from home. Comfort their loved ones who wait for their return. Lord, most of all, I pray for peace, that they may all return. I pray in the name of Jesus, our Saviour. AMEN.

Lord make me an instrument of thy peace,where there is hatred sow love.
Protect this man and return him to his family. Surround him with the presence of St. Christopher. Even if the mission's origins are of questionable morality, please hold the soldiers free from harm...they are not responsible for the decisions of others who stand to profit from their protection of the vast, rich oil fields. Bring them home soon and I humbly ask that no further such missions be required. I further ask that the President be turned from his ways and see the need to spend the necessary funds to free us from our dependence on foreign oil, so that no more blood for oil is needed. Protect the humble soldiers and make the commanders responsible for their decisions! I ask this in the name of our lord as his humble servant.

Dear Lord, I ask, in the name of your beloved son, Jesus Christ, that you keep this boy safe and could you please make sure that he doesn't kill any British soldiers with 'friendly fire'.

Prayer for Total Freedom

May the author of the universe enable all men to reach an understanding of their spiritual nature.

May awareness and understanding of life expand, so that all may come to know the author of the universe.

And may others also reach this understanding which brings Total Freedom.

At this time, we think of those whose liberty is threatened; of those who have suffered imprisonment for their beliefs; of those who are enslaved or martyred, and for all those who are brutalized, trapped or attacked.

We pray that human rights will be preserved so that all people may believe and worship freely, so that freedom will once again be seen in our land.

Freedom from war, and poverty, and want; freedom to be; freedom to do and freedom to have.

Freedom to use and understand man's potential-a potential that is God-given and Godlike.

And freedom to achieve that understanding and awareness that is Total Freedom.

May God let it be so.

May God protect the members of all our country’s security services. May God grant wisdom to our leaders. May God will that our nation be increased in virtue. May God will that our armed forces achieve victory, for the sake of that which is good. May God protect Corporal Drake and bring him safely home to his loved ones. May God comfort Corporal Drake’s loved ones and keep them secure. May God fortify and reassure his wife, Lauren. May God increase Lauren in faith, hope, charity and understanding. Ameen.

God, may you watch over Jason and all those exposed to the horrors of war and to the spirtual dangers of their life. Give them strong faith. May their guardian angels protect them! Amen

A special Memorial Day prayer for you, son. We are thinking of you today and always. We pray that God will keep you under his wings and feathers, as written in Psalm 91.
