Toddler Cancer Patient

Elias was recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a very aggressive childhood cancer. He is receiving the best possible medical care, but prayers are needed also.

Elias was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive childhood cancer called neuroblastoma. Unfortunately the disease usually shows no symptoms until it is in an advanced stage. Upon diagnosis, Elias' disease had already reached stage 4. The survival rate for stage 4 neuroblastoma ranges from 20-50 percent depending upon the characteristics of the tumor(s) and the hospital where the child is undergoing treatment.

Elias is receiving the best possible medical care. Friends and family are providing emotional support and "care packages" for the entire family. The only other thing that Elias and his family need are prayers.

Many people of various faiths are praying for Elias. He is not Jewish, but I am. Please pray for Elias' recovery, and also for the well being of his parents and brother.

I pray Your will be done, and pray for strength for acceptance of this. Have mercy on this child and his family. Please heal him in Thy own way and time. Please help give all of his family courage and strength. Give the doctors the medicine and knowledge needed to beat this ugly disease. In Jesus name I pray.

Help him over come this illness with your love, let angels watch his bed at night and guard him through the day. Stay with him and his family dear Jesus and strengthen their belief and give them hope. Don't let his illness be in vain dear lord and don't let him suffer..You prince of love and peace. 	marymcbeth 12/31/2003 11:52	Elias, know that the Holy Spirit is within you. Trust in Him. The Lord will guide you to where you need to be. To his family, love him to life if you can. Love him to death if you must. My precious Goddaughter just died of a rhabdoid tumour.
