Loss of a Child

My good friend and her husband lost their unborn son on December 20, 2000.

Terry and Jason both knew a pregnancy would be difficult but decided they were ready to offer the world to a new human being. Previously, she had a blood clot which was eliminated but she would be on medication for the rest of her life. Jason was as supportive as any husband could be.

She finally was pregnant but there were cautious steps being taken. Terry called me from the hospital, explaining they had found another blood clot but this time in her lungs and it had possibly stopped at the placenta as well. She told me her baby was very underdeveloped but the doctors and nurses were keeping a watchful eye.

The choice came down to losing her or the baby. On December 20, 2000, they induced her and he son died.

I ask that you please pray for her and her family during this difficult time. To ease their hearts and lessen their pain. To help them through their loss and bring them closer as a family. Thank you.

	Freeshona 3/28/2001 14:50	My heart goes out to you. I know that here on Earth that there is so much pain but one day you will be reunited with your son. He is in Heaven watching down on you. The pain hurts a lot but the Lord will take care of you both if you believe He will.

	ladysings2 8/20/2001 12:46	I pray that this family love and honor one another as they continue to deal with their loss. May they someday be blessed with a healthy, happy child to raise - and may they always hold the memory of the son they lost in their hearts. I pray this family knows peace, love and joy. I also pray for every couple and family who has experienced the loss of an unborn child. My sisters have lost unborn children, and I know how hard it has been for them. May all people in this situation find strength and peace in their loved ones. May they someday be blessed with healthy and happy children. Amen.
