Trey is a one month old baby with a malignant tumor in his thigh. He is facing chemotherapy and possible amputation.

We need to get as many people praying for this baby as we can. I believe in the power of prayer and I believe in miracles. This baby needs both. His family also needs our prayers for strength and peace, and we are praying for healing for this child.

My friend, Shelley Zanutto, and her husband, Steve, had their first baby on Nov. 29, 2000, in Humble, TX. His name is Trey. When he was about three weeks old, Shelley noticed a knot in Trey's thigh and within two days, it had doubled in size and turned his toe purple. She took him to his doctor, who referred them to the Children's Hospital in Houston. There, they met with a specialist who determined that the knot was a tumor. On Jan. 2, 2001, the tumor was biopsied and they discovered that it was malignant. They also have discovered that the cancer has taken over his entire thigh muscle. The doctors have diagnosed it as Infantile Fibro Sarcoma. In the past 30 years, there have been 30 cases, so every specialist in Houston wants to treat him. They first considered amputation, but they now have reason to be concerned with his lymph nodes. The week of Jan.15, this newborn baby will start chemo. I am asking that you all put this baby and his family on your prayer lists at church, PLEASE!
