I have never been good at prayer, and I am an Unitarian Universalist Pagan. I ask only one thing. I wish for prayers for my wife. She is having our first Child and is in danger of losing it. Please I will dedicate mine families lives to all the Deities that are if our child can only come to us healthy. I will do anything that is asked of me.

I ask the Lord and Lady to hold close to Their hearts my dear friends, Bobby and Candi in Tennessee. Bobby drifts between this world and the next and Candi needs the strength to deal with whatever is next. For Bobby, a truly gentle soul, I ask the Lady to either restore him or bring him Home. For Candi, I ask the Lady's light and the Lord's strength to see her through. With Perfect Love and Perfect Trust, I ask this. Blessed Be.

I am in need of your prayers for my situation,--my mother and I have another court date appearance on Thursday, August 10th--Our landlord is threatening to evict us from the only home we have ever known for 45 years, and yes it was due to an over population of cats problem that my mother created, but it has been resovled satisfactorily. We did have a court date on June 27th in which I had hoped that all would have been resolved then, and it would simply been a matter of signing a stipulation agreement--but the landlord and his lawyer seem to be playing hardball, and want to drag this thing out, and our case could even go to trail status--supposedly he has four people willing to testify against us--for what I haven't got a clue as the situation has been solved--so many are saying he's antsy pantsy to get us out of our apt. just to raise the rent--
So far, I've been holding out pretty well with all this stress--even though I'm dealing with my agoraphobia problem, and believe me you don't have to have a panic/anxiety disorder to be stressed out with a court case. But now I have additional stress which quite frankly is freaking me out a bit---My mother has been in and out of the hospital since June 7th of last year, having been diagnosed with esophagile cancer--she's in remission--she also suffers from major depression--but now, I would say in the past week or so, her health has really deteriorated--I'm this close to calling 911 to get her hauled over to the hospital, but if ever there was rotten timing for her to be hospitalized, it's now--we have another court appearance August 10th, and she HAS to be there--from what I understand, if the two of us don't appear, the case goes into "default" and the landlord automatically wins the case and we will definitely be evicted--we even have to attend the court just to get a postponement--so I'm hoping my mother will hold out just until Thursday--I'm practically forcing food down her--she is doing an almost anorexic thing, just not wanting to eat--I spent a small fortune getting food for her that would be easy to eat, blending foods to puree them,....I even, in 90-degree temp, with no air-conditioner in our place, baked custard, as it is chock full of protein--She does seems to chow that down.
When she got her SS check I had to call a cab service for her to go to the check cashiers--she hasn't had a checking account in four years, and I can't get one opened up for her, even with power of attorney as she doesn't really have a proper photo ID to identify who she is--she is in such a weakened state, that she can barely walk as for a long time now her only form of "exercise" is walking to the bathroom from the sofa--this has been going on for a long time now, and even her docs and social worker kept telling her to walk about a bit, even just up and down the block, but to be frank, she's a stubborn woman who just doesn't listen to anyone--not even when it's advice that is beneficial to her.

So frankly I don't know what to do--all along I've been handling myself fairly well, but for the first time, I really feel like I'm falling apart--everyone keeps telling me what a strong person I am, that I'm one tough cookie--frankly, I'm tired of being strong, and wouldn't mind being pampered a bit--and I definitely need a vacation!!!
