Prayer Circles

I am grateful to everyone who has served their country, whether in wartime or peacetime. I know I'm guilty of taking the efforts of these men and women for granted, and Veterans Day reminds us to be more mindful of their sacrifices. Deep and heartfelt thanks to the veterans of this country and their families.

I to am grateful for all who have served and will serve our country. As a former serviceman my heart and prayers go out to all who are in harms way. And let us not forget the families they have left at home.

This is my poem that I wrote for my brother. He is in the marines and i will email it when I get his address let me know if you like it.



It is titled: My Brother, My Best friend



I wish you the best

You are such a strong person

Stand up for your country

Stand up tall

Have the courage to go on

Stand up close beside them

Give them your hand

Help those who need you

And work hard each day

Always know I love you

Always know I care

Always remember me

Always be aware

Of how much I’m proud of you

To be my brother

My brother my best friend

I love you always

You have been there to listen

You have been there to talk

You took me out to movies and activities

And as I sit there

I know you want me strong

You have told me how you feel

You helped me be my best

You stood up when I needed you

And always showed you care

You have protected me from danger

And held me when I cried

You always stood beside me

And shared your hopes and dreams

I never know how much you care

Until you told me so

And I could never be prouder

So I wanted you to know

You are my brother

And my best friend

On Veterans' Day, I remember my father, Capt. Marvin Rosenblum, USA, who served in the Army during World War II before I was born. I'm grateful for his service in the war against Hitler, and thankful that he was able to return to raise a family and live a full life until age 72. He is dearly loved, greatly missed.

To my sisters & brothers who practice the path of the warrior... may you know the Peace within you... may you know that Love surrounds you... may you know that honor is bestowed upon you for the code of conduct you have choosen in times of war and in peace... and, may you know that you are held in light and love on every step of your journey.

Thank you to all veterans who have served, to those who have passed on, and thanks is extended to those who are serving now. God bless you for a safe return to your loved ones.

Dear Lord Our God, Merciful Father and Protector of Life;

O Lord, please bless all the many veterans who have served this great nation, especially those who have sacrificed health, spirit and precious time for the sake of our freedom and lives; and this includes the souls of the dead, O Lord, let them dwell with You in Heaven. Please bless all these people with the just rewards of their sacrifices, and for healing from the scars of war, physical and mental; and bless all those who know and love these heroes as well.

And Lord, as this war goes on even now, please continue to bless our troops on their mission, to return home safely, achieve their goals and come home to even better conditions than when they left; and again bless their loved ones here, and the whole war situation. And allow there to be fewer wars in the future, that there need be no more sacrificing.

And Lord, thank You for every brave child of Yours that has been willing to die for others, in the sacrifice worthy of You; and for all else as well.

Thank You for all and bless all, especially these troops;

Dear Lord,
Where does one begin to Thank all of those who have served our country so valiantly! Please Lord let them know that they are appreciated more than they know! To My Grandfather, my Father, my brother and so many more..."Thank You" for my ability to say this prayer, my freedom, my choices that I am able to make, my family and their freedoms, the ability to vote, the rights that you have fought for me to have and so much more! May God Bless each of you for everything and may each of your family members be blessed as well as you!

Dear Father in Heaven, Bless our soldiers serving overseas and here at home. They are willing to be called up at any given moment to protect us, without question or reserve. Give us the appreciation we should show all of them. Thank you for these brave men and women, and I pray that you will keep them safe to return to their families. Amen

My prayers are with these faithful men and women who protect our country. Your job is so very important and I pray God will wrap His arms around you to keep you safe and comfortable. You surely will be rewarded in Heaven for all the sacrifices you make each and everyday.

Dear Father God,

I thank you this day for the courage of America's veterans. I thank you for giving them the courage and steadfastness to serve their country at a sacrifice to their own family lives. For those who still serve, I ask you to watch over them and protect them from harm, and I ask you to grant their families peace and comfort in the time that they are apart. For those who no longer serve, I thank you for giving them the strength to serve and for protecting them when they did. I especially thank you God for those who have fought in wars, Lord. Grant those who still remember their experiences in those wars comfort, and bring peace to their minds. For those who served our country and gave the price of their lives, grant Lord that they have a special place with you in Heaven where they can look down upon their families. Grant them peace, and grant the families they left behind who are still on this earth peace and comfort in the knowledge that their loved ones are finally safe.

All of you are in my heart. A day does not go by, that I do not stop to think of your sacrifices. I am in constant thought of the lives lost at war and the strength and devotion of the soldiers alive. I pray each one will return home soon. God Bless.

Father God - We pause to give thanks to the men and women who have sacraficed their lives and their families for service to our world and nation. They are fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, daughters, wives, sisters....they are all your children and serving in countries far and near - we pray for peace and the safe return of these men and women to their homes and families. We pray a special prayer to the families of those who have suffered the loss of loved ones. Thank you God for your gift of life and for your gift of peace and mercy. Remember those who are no longer with us, but give comfort and peace to those who remain regardless of their condition. They have served - Bless them and let us always be thankful that they were willing to serve and sacrafice. Let us learn from them so that we too may help to bring about peace on earth. Amen.
