Family member ill...

Dear family member ill, and there is nothing else that can be done for him...

He has a rare form of lung disease, close to cystic phibrosis...He has been told that not even a transplant will work. He has been a hard working, kind, generous man all of his life. It's been just about 1 year since this all began.

He still is having difficulty in believing that there is nothing else physical, that can be done for him. He is on oxygen 24 hours a day. There are some meds that he takes, to slow down the progression of the lung disease though...he has left work, and stills vows that he will do everything he physically can, before succombing to the disease.

He is in his mid sixties, and is stubborn enough to defy the disease and continue his activities as best he can.

The age old question is what we, his family, have been asking, why do these things happen to good people? Not saying it should only happen to others, but...why...?

Plz keep him and his family in your hearts, as we all try to answer this question..Why? Love in Christ...thank-you...

	whoboysonlyangel 1/1/2004 22:12	Well, it's been just over 1 year that my brother-in-law came down with this, and the Lord has touched his life! He is currently managing well, and has even put some of the weight back on, he initially lost at the onset. We had such a wonderful dinner with my sister and Ken...celebrating the new year and giving thanks for all that we do, have and are...Thank-you Lord...And God Bless us, everyone! Whoboysonlyangel...
