Prayers for my first born with addictions

Scott is the first born of 5 children raised in a Christian home but has lost his way.

Scott is a wonderful, friendly hardworking individual who has allowed the evils of the world into his life. He is addicted to meth which he is trying to break on his own. He is an alcoholic but won't admit it. He also can become very verbally abusive to me under certain circumstances. He is 27 and not married. I know that if he could find his faith again he can beat all the evils in his life. I pray for the Holy Spirit to come into his life. He doesn't believe he needs church. Please pray for him.

	LindaLou58 10/21/2005 20:38	Sue, I know exactly where you are coming from. My only son is a drug addict also. He is in jail now and will be going to prison soon. Please pray for him to. Here's my prayer for your son: Father God, I come to You tonight on behalf of a young man named Scott. You know his situation -- he's an addict/alcoholic. He's allowed Satan to come into his life through drugs and is trying to fight his addiction on his own strenght. What Scott don't know is that without Your help, he's no match for Satan and his demonic powers. Lord, can You open his eyes to this fact? All I know to do for him is to bind Satan from devoring him and to loose sainty to return to Scott's mind. Father, is there anyone You can send to him that can show him the way back to You? He needs You despertly. Be with his mother. Take care of her, bless her with Your lovingkindness. That's all I know to pray. Thank You God for her life and watch over her famiy. Amen
