I am thinking good thoughts for this kind and loving man who has done so much to promote peace and comassion throughout the world.

He is an extraordinary man who has helped make the world a far better place, not just for Catholics, but everyone. We pray for him in his most recent struggles

Dear Lord,
Bless Your faithful servant, Pope John Paul II. Renew his strength, abide with him, and tenderly care for him, as he has cared for the flock You have entrusted to him. Amen.

Dear God, Bless the Holy Father and allow him more time to continue his good work in the world. But if it is his time to leave this earth, grant him holy peace in heaven and hope in the world to come. In Jesus' name I pray.

God,
Please help this kind man who has done so much for so others. Help him in all his struggles in every aspect of his life, espically in his health.

I pray that the energy and love that inhabits each one of us may be focussed toward the Holy Father in his time of need to promote healing and happiness. In love and peace.

Guide, bless, and be with John Paul II. In so many ways, Father, he has embodied who and what You want us to be. Grant him peace and little pain right now. Help us to carry on with his work of love and peace. In Your Son's name, Amen.

Oh greatest of all persons, before you take to your heart this messager, pope john, let him finish your words and be seen to be going to your world in the health that you would have him be seen.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord." May John Paul II be truly blessed for all his hard work and effort on earth to assist justice, the poor, the weak, and the oppressed. I pray that Lord Jesus will allow the Holy Father to remain with us for some time yet. We love him and thank God for guiding him to become our Pope. May his health and strengthed be renewed and the gratitude of the world continue to flourish. Amen!

O Lord, you who have placed the protection of this man under the graces of your servant, Mary, please assist the Holy Father in his ministry to the faithful, and I beseech you, if it pleases you, ease his suffering. I ask you this in the name of your son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you forever and ever!

John Paul Did a lot to ease the suffering of people around the world, as well as apologizing for past vatican wrongs.

I will miss his leadership.
A big fear of mine will be who his successor is.

the successor can either continue John Pauls message of peace, hope, tolerance, or understanding, or the successor can choose to roll back the progress of the Church a couple hundred years.

May the gods look favorably on JP.

May the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ send the spirit to comfort and consol our great servant John Paul in his time of need. John Paul, thank you for the love you have shown to your protestant brothers and sisters. Father, bless him and usher him into your glorious presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, we thank You for letting Pope John Paul II lead Your Church during these difficult times. His job's not an easy one and yet he has done a lot to touch the lives of most people, regardless of age, race, gender, or religious beliefs (Catholics, non-Catholic Christians, and non-Christians alike). We know that You are always with Him especially when he seems to be down with his ailments. We know this because You alone can give him the strength to face and talk to so many people during his frequent audiences in Rome and elsewhere in the world, despite his Parkinson's disease and other health problems. He continues to inspire people to do good and be faithful servants of You, Lord. He continues to serve as a living example of someone who loves You above all else. We pray, that if it is Your will to give him a few more years to continue spreading love,hope, and joy to everyone, then we come together now to pray for his health to improve for him to carry on his tasks, as difficult as they may be, to tend Your flock. We also pray that in the future, his successor would continue to serve You and lovingly take us, Your children, under his wing, all for the service and love of You. Amen

May he have the health and strength to do the things he feels he needs to do. I am grateful for his promotion of peace and understanding in the world.

Lord, bless the Holy Father for all the good he has done in this troubled world. Help him as well as us to accept your will...keep him faithful and strong, in mind and spirit, if not in body. Thank you for blessing us with the company of people such as him.

Oh god have mercy on he who you have sent to guide us and may you oh mary mother of the lord be his comforter in such a dire time in the pope's life he has done so much and will continue to do much and may he be blessed (even more than he already is)
