I just resigned from a toxic work environment where the owners were angry, disrespectful and abusive and pray for anyone else who is being emotionally and spiritually drained in this type of situation. It is difficult to love what you do and be under constant attack due to mismanagement, unclear company direction or by people who have no goal orientation in their lives. After 10 years of trying to place myself above the pettiness and striving to preserve my positive and professional outlook, and fighting numerous illnesses...I finally gave in, listened and HEARD...my body, my instincts and God...that I don't need to be there....can't be there and should move on to a different place where my skills, love for people and ability to tie it all together will be appreciated. I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING for that place, but feel better (physically & emotionally) everyday! I continue to be optimistic and know that my situation is temorary and needed in order to heal and move on to a much better place! I pray that anyone else in a similar situation has the strength and will do heal, be well, and move into a better place in their lives that will fullfill their needs and enable them to use our God given talents. "By The Grace of God..." this has been my "leap of faith at age 44". May God Bless Each of You and Thank you for taking time to read this post.....

I am praying with you that God will protect you from any toxic situations at your workplace. Please look into obtaining the book from TD Jakes entitled "How to work in a hostile environment." It will give you insight on how you should approach workplace situations, the real reason why you were placed to work there and the role you should play in your co-workers lives. Also, pray and meditate on the word of God, especially Psalm 140 and 143, in their entirety. I pray that you will become more aware of your surroundings and use the word to combat the enemy from stealing your joy and blessings that you receive from your job. Be BETTER than blessed!!!
