Hi there! I would love to be able to chat with you! I am going through the same thing. You will definately be in my prayers. But you CAN do it! I have lost 32 pounds so far and have 43 more to go. If there was some way we could have a one on one chat that would be great! I have a lot of tips that I could give you!!!! Keep me posted....

Rarely do I read the daily inspirations, but for some reason today, I read it and found your request for help to loose 80lbs. I read your note and I could totally relate because I have been there!!! Stop right now feeling ugly! Being overweight is not a defect in you or your personality, it is just something that you want to change. The reasons for that change have to be the right ones though and that is the trick. Three years ago I broke up with my boyfriend and at the time I was about 100lbs over my healthy weight. I was really at rock bottom and I didn't get there overnight, oh no, I worked at it for years. I decided right then and there that I wanted to find "Me" again. And it wasn't something that I could fix quickly. I thought the weight was the source of my problems but thru the next year I discovered that it was the "effect" in Cause and Effect. I had to learn to take care of myself, inside and out. I hate the word "diet" and I have never been on one I just started changing the way I lived. The first step I took was I started walking. First 1 mile then 2 and I built it up to 4 miles...5x a week. Then I started changing some of my eating habits. Absolutely no fast food or eating out!!! I switched things I liked to less fatty versions..Soy milk protein shakes, wheat bread no cheese lots of turkey, chicken and fruits vegatables. I cut out caffein for the most part and drank tons of water. When I was brave enough I joined a gym and I never looked back. I am happier now, not because I look better but because I deserve to be a healthy happy person, I earned it the hard way and on my own, my family did not do this for me, nor did a fad diet or diet pills, I learned to love myself and I am still working on it everyday. It took me a year to loose 80lbs. I would buy clothes that didn't yet fit me and I would work to get into them. I went from a size 22 to a size 8 and found out that I am a really hot chick!! But it doesn't matter how I look on the outside, good people are attracted to who I am on the inside, just as I was attracted to your letter. Enjoy who you are, life does not give us any promises, it is a lesson we must learn and the joys come in giving back. God made you who you are for a reason and the wonder is finding out why, what gifts do you need to share. So good luck and God bless, remember one day at a time, you didn't get to this point overnight. It is a hard journey but one worth taking.

I will pray for you. I too have fought a constant battle with my weight. Walking,eating smaller meals,lots of water has helped me. I'm always here if you need to talk. God Be With You, You can do it!

Lord God, Right now-I ask you to meet this individual at the point of their need. You know-you are the Author & Finisher of our faith-and right now, we ask that you give this person your revelation knowledge and a special nudge from the Holy Spirit to help them to know how to eat--Change, Lord, and transform them, Lord from the inside out-Bless their lives to know you came to give them a Hope and a Future...and you will never leave them nor forsake them, and Lord--you have put many caring people on this board to let them know that they are cared for and Bless them and keep them, Lord God. Dear God, I know what this person is going through. I struggle each and everyday with the same problem. We need you to guide him and keep him away from all evil. Please say an Our Father after your prayer request. Thank you

Hi I'm right there with you, I'm trying to lose 90 pounds, and I pray everyday and night that God will give me the strength I need to stop eating sweets and the other foods that aren't good for someone like me.
