The World
Interfaith Prayers

This circle will be there to encourage people to pray for people of all faith, especially those with whom they are in conflict.

It is easy to pray for friends, harder to pray for enemies. I want this to be a breakthrough group where we genuinely pray for the well-being of those who have hurt us in the past; an Interfaith group that prays across faith boundaries.

No "Bring them to their senses" type prayers here please. Instead, make this the sort of prayer you would pray for yourself if you and your family found yourselves in the situation of the person or persons for whom you are praying. Genuinely try to put yourself in their place and pray for their benefit.

Do include here personal prayers for individuals that have hurt you as well as bigger prayers for nations and states.

In this way, we can stretch out a hand of friendship across the world.
