mark dittman
46 yr old male, very dear friend

mark was in a very bad accident approx. 2 months ago. his neck was broken and he had a stroke during surgery. he was transferred to a nursing home approx. 1 month ago. just 2 days ago they transferred him back to the hospital with pneumonia.

please pray for mark to make a full recovery. he is truly a good person. it seems that the stroke has done a lot of damage and recovery will be slow. no one knows for sure how much damage the stroke has done. at this time, mark doesn't talk. he will blink and squeeze your hand lightly with his left hand. it seems as though his neck is healing well as they are thinking of taking the neck brace off. he does nod his head slightly. mark had a drinking problem which got him into this situation in the first place. i would also like us to pray for that not to be a problem anymore, when and if he recovers.
