A Beautiful Angel In Need of Prayer

Angel is my 19 1/2 month old baby niece who is hanging on to life after a severe skull fracture.

Angel needs all the thoughts and prayers she can get. She's a beautiful little girl with lots of spirit. We almost lost her on May 18, 2003. The doctors had to do EVERYTHING they could to keep her with us.
The doctor's say that Angel's brain is dying off. We don't know how severe it is yet, but she may be blind in one eye, and may never walk, talk, or feed herself again.
She's been moving her arms and legs and at times she grasps for something to hold onto. Once in a while her eyes flutter open. It all looks great from the outside, but the doctors are terribly worried about the inside.
I wish you could see the love in Jenifer's eyes when she gazes into her baby's face. She will need a LOT of strength and courage to help Angel with recovery.
Please pray for Angel and her mother, Jenifer. We love them both so very much. I will be forever grateful. Thank you. :0)

	Serenityroz 5/25/2003 03:21	Dear GOD, I pray that you watch over Angel and help her get stronger with each passing day. Heal her brain so she can have an active successful life. Please give Jenifer the strength, courage, and wisdom to carry on day to day while Angel is recovering. Help her find peace within herself and don't let her blame herself for someone else's wrong doing. Lord, I pray for serenity for the entire family, and let us love and forgive one another. Amen.

	5/30/2003 11:04	Angel can sit up by herself and clap her hands. She's been giving her mommy kisses and saying a few words. It really is a miracle. Less than two weeks ago we thought she might be in a vegetative state forever. They are still trying to get her to swallow so she can start feeding herself. She may be deaf and blind on the right side, but it hasn't been two weeks. So we are all still praying. Thank you LORD!!!

	Serenityroz 6/2/2003 18:21	Thank you to all of you have prayed silently for Angel. What a MIRACLE!!! Two weeks ago she was barely hanging onto life and now she's almost the same little girl before the accident!!! She's still weak and needs therapy, but it's soooo AMAZING!!! She stood today. She can still say the same words as before. She is giving kisses to everybody like they are going out of style. Her eyes look focused!! It's wonderful. The doctors had said not to hope to much and that the MRI said her brain was slowly dying off! But with all the prayers, she's turned those words totally around!!! Thank you.
