Minister's Family dealing with Sexual Abuse

Please pray that God's Healing Powers will resurrect all in this family.

My daughter came to me almost three weeks ago to tell me her stepfather had touched her several months ago.
This is difficult as I am a minister. I believe in the Power of Jesus who will heal all the wounds.
I praise God that my husband is repentative, remorseful and has made all the necessary steps in receiving treatment, self-reporting to Children and Youth, voluntarily leaving the household and has previous to this had received Christ.

I sincerely believe that he is capable of healing. He has confessed to me, God, his parents (who prayed over him and blessed him)and whoever so far needs to hear of his confession.

I ask for prayers for my oldest (11) daughter who is understandably feeling scared and angry. She has faith in God as do my other two daughters that God will indeed heal us all.
We have been blessed wonderful supportive friends.
I claim Christ's protection over us.
Please pray for our finances as well as we are slowly sinking financially.

I also ask of You that the family gets the financial help they ask of You, amen.

	glory2glory 12/8/2002 12:57	Father, I add my prayers to this situation. I know it was posted a while ago, but others may be dealing with the same thing. I believe that this testimony of an abuser, who admitted, repented, reported, and sought help and prayer--will aid others. I pray healing, deliverance, and protection for the survivor and I thank You for always being faithful and never leaving or forsaking us. Amen.
