Indeed they gathered in this city against your holy servant Jesus whom you anointed, Herod 4 and Pontius Pilate, together with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel,

to do what your hand and (your) will had long ago planned to take place.

And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and enable your servants to speak your word with all boldness,

as you stretch forth (your) hand to heal, and signs and wonders are done through the name of your holy servant Jesus."

5 As they prayed, the place where they were gathered shook, and they were all filled with the holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

Loving Heavely Father, I lift up these brothers to you for protection, strength and courage that only you can give. I also lift up their families at home as well as all our troops in this far away land. I just ask that you will return them home safely. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Blessed be those who have given their most precious gifts (our children)in this life for the sake of America's and God's oppressed people's freedoms.

Dear Lord, we ask in your holy name for your hedge of protection to be placed around these two brothers and their company while they are ingaged in combat. We ask that you bring them back safely to their families and this land of the free. We stand up as a strong dignified nation humbled in your presence and pray for peace to be to all nations and their peoples. Help us to love one another as you have loved us. Let us not let war be our symbol of life; but rather let us extend kindness and love and toleration for all. We thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon this nation and the patience you have exercised towards us. Bless each of the families for their sacrifices and help them to surrender all their worries to you and trust that you will handle all things according to your will. Amen
