Lori was a Navaho Hopi Indian who was one of the very few Native American women to serve in the Military.


Lori Piestewa died serving her country. She was Navaho Hopi Indian and she was one of the few Native American Women to serve in the military. She followed in her father and Grandfathers Military shoes.

Lori Piestewa was a Native American Navaho Hopi Woman warrior who died in service to her country. She was the mother of 2 Children and she followed in the footsteps of her father and grandfather in Military service. She is my hero and my inspiration. Please pray for her family as they grieve her awesome loss as I will

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please watch over the spirt of Lori Piestewa, and please watch over her family, especially her two children. Please bless her for her courage and her devotion to her country. Please extend those blessings to her family. Please help her family to always be proud of her and to always realize that her life and her death meant something. Please do not let her death make them bitter but proud. Amen.
