Aisklepios please minister to my grandfather, and heal his infirmities at least long enough for me to meet him again. Phoibos Apollon please avert the illness from Clicke. Hugeia, please restore your qualities to him.

I ask this of all of you Blessed Immortals, if ever an offering was pleasing to you, please grant my requests.

SS. Michael and Gabriel please watch over my grandfather, and intercede on his behalf, for he needs your healing virtues.

Great Asklepios, skilled to heal mankind,
all-ruling Paian, and physician kind;
whose arts medicinal can alone assuage
diseases dire, and stop their dreadful rage.
Strong, lenient God, regard my suppliant prayer,

there isn't a lot i can do directly, but i hope that whatever happens happens in the best way it can. may whatever gods he believes in bring him what he needs.

I add my prayers to the wishes here. gods bless and keep Calixto's grandfather. May it be that earthbound he could stay at least a two week span of days.

If it be your will, Phoibos Apollon, Archer-god, take back your arrows and restore to Clicke the flow of health. May your son Aisklepios show those who care for him the proper means and dedication.

If it be your will, Atropos, Wise Crone of the Fates, hold your shears, and cut not the thread of life of Clicke before his granddaughter beholds his face again.

If it be your will, Hermes, Luck-bringing messenger of the immortals and guide of men and shades alike, show Calixto the way back to the arms of Clicke with all haste.

If it be your will, Hestia, maiden of the eternal flame, reunite this family under one roof to warm themselves by your hearth.

And if it be your will, mighty Athena Polymetis, Thea whom I have raised above all others, gentle mentor and teacher, Tritogenia, grant all who care for Clicke the wisdom and stealth to do what is best and right in this time of concern. Bless this family as the generations come together in harmony.

Brighid, divine pure flame, please watch over Clicke in his time of need. Let his walk be peaceful, whever the path leads. Lend his family strength and clarity. Encompass them in their time of need, and if it his to be that Clicke goes to meet his God(s), we pray the family gets the time to say their goodbyes and wish him well on his journey.

Asklepios, hear me and quickly come to aid Calixto's grandfather. Lord Apollon, may you watch over Clicke in this time of need. Hermes, watch over Calixto's journey, make it stress-free and swift, and let him see his grandfather again in this life. I will pour out libations to you and give sacrifice, just as I have done before.

His beloved grandfather, affectionately known as Clicke, passed into eternal rest this morning.

During this sad time, knowing just how much your friends love and support you is always a welcome blessing and helps to somewhat ease the pain. Remember, there is no true death per se, he will always live on in your heart and mind, he will always be remembered and honored by his loving family.

Everyone, let's extend our embrace during his grief, perhaps we can share poems or songs that touched us during our own time of loss, compose something original as we are moved to speak, give simple words of comfort, or just simply let Cal know we are here. I am sure it would be very appreciated and it would also be a beautiful tribute to his grandfather's memory. I noticed that there is a page for memorials, when the time is right I'm sure there will be a place there for us to leave messages, but in the meantime let's use whatever medium (boards, email, call) we have to extend our sypmathies.

As you learn of the time and place of the service, Cal, please share that information with us. I think it would be a kind gesture to send flowers to the funeral home in Miami. Sometimes words escape us, and that is why we have symbolic gestures to speak of our feelings. If perhaps Clicke had a favorite charity, we could also send memorials in his name there to honor his life.
