15 year old trying to cope

Life's hard. Need much prayers. Need God.

I want you all to pray for me because I'm trying to cope. With what? you might ask? I'm trying to cope with life. It's hard being a teanager. I go to a private school. It's my second year here and I'm just now settling into the work load. I thought suicide was the way out of everything, it's not. I found out through many hard ways. My friend and I both have those depressing days. You know, after lunch, you're tired. Don't want to do anything. That's when everything hits. Being tired, depression, world just crashes down to the firy pits. I'm trying to cope with getting all my work done, like I'm supposed to be doing now, I just get side tracked, like now. Please pray for me. Life. Can't live with it, can't live without it.

	bak03 12/13/2000 09:45	Leslie, I have prayed for you today and I will continue for the next several days. You must have faith that God hears every word that you think and speak. It is good that you are asking for help. Now you need to listen for the answer. It may come as a strong feeling to do something or in the words from a friend or stranger. You will know when it comes. Be open to it. Don't despair. Life is hard but it is wonderful if you allow God to shine his light on your path. Open your heart and eyes to his light. Blessings to you.

	maria9 12/18/2000 20:26	Dear Leslie, God never gives you a situation you can't handle but you have to take action! First, though, make sure you are getting enough nutrition -- take a multi-vitamin. You would be suprised how much better it can make you feel. (Especially B vitamins). Have faith that there is a purpose for you being alive. Magic will happen if you open your heart to it. Ask the universe to give you what you need and it will come. I pray for you and your impending happiness. I know you will find joy and peace in this life by living fully. And when in doubt, pray to the virgin Mary. She will listen to your prayers and protect you. With love, maria

	lostreligion 12/19/2000 18:31	I have also thought suicide was the way out but I would always snap out of it right before I caused serious harm to myself. I believe the reason I would snap out of it is because God knew it wasn't my time. I have tried to commit suicide 4 times already and I just turned 16. Yet now with my friends that are better to me and my family understand that this is a sickness I have to deal with they know that I can be happy one minute and in the deepest bout of depression the next. Knowing that I can tell people my story because I lived brings joy to my heart and not knowing what I will feel like tomorrow is something I will have to live with the rest of my life. I just hope that you have the faith in God to know that others have gone through depression and have lived to tell about it. I will be thinking of you and hope that my words bring you some light.

	shaner 12/20/2000 19:49	Leslie, you are much loved by Our Heavenly Father. He has plans for you, and they don't include taking your own life. I pray that God moves your spirit to talk with someone, your parents, your pastor, a teacher, about how you feel. There is help out there. I know. Being a teenager in today's world can't be easy, but keep praying, never give up Our Lord is always there and hears and feels our pain. I pray you talk to a trusted adult about your feelings of suicide. I could tell you the old cliches, like you have your whole life ahead of you, but I'll bet you can't really see that right now. May Our Heavenly Father steer you in the path He has chosen for you and lift this depression from you, amen.

	marahet 5/18/2001 00:11	Leslie, please know that the teen years are hard on all of us, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel...god's light. Keep sight of your hopes and dreams and always remember that God is with you as are your family and your friends. Suicide is something that many think of, but you must remember that it is not an option...there are no second chances afterwards. When you are depressed understand that it is a normal part of life and is especially hard in the teen years because of the many changes you are going through. Try to pace yourself with your schoolwork and your social life. There will still be some dark days, but they will opass and before you know it, you are 47 years old with a couple of great kids, a loving spouse, a college degree, a good job, and, most important of all, a loving relationship with our heavenly father who protected us during all those dark moments. Take care and God bless you and keep you strong.

	ANGELHEAVEN2GOD 8/10/2001 08:49	LESLIE- PLEASE KNOW THAT YOUR LIFE IS WORTH ALOT TO GOD,YOURSELF,AND OTHERS. I HAVE A SON WHO IS NOW 26 AN I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE THE DAY THAT HE WOULD BE THAT AGE. HE HAS OVERDOSED TWICE WHEN HE WAS IN HIS TEENS AN SAID WHAT IS LIFE WORTH LIVING FOR WHEN A PERSON THAT DOES GOOD HAS ONLY BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO THEM. THEY TRYED TO GIVE HIM LOTS OF DRUGS TO HELP WHICH ONLY FOR HIM MADE IT WORSE. HIS FATHER WAS BURNED 80% OF HIS BODY AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS DID TO HIM-BUT AFTER THAT HE WAS INVOLVED WITH DRUGS,STEALING CARS,AND SO ON.LIFE CAN HAND YOU SOME AWFUL STUFF-BUT WITH THE GRACE OF GOD WITHIN YOU-YOU WILL MAKE IT THRU.EVERYDAY PRAY TO GOD AND KEEP HIM CLOSE AT HEART -HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU NO MATTER WHAT.JUST REMEMBER THE FOOTPRINTS. MY SON DEALS WITH THIS EVERYDAY OF HIS LIFE AND HE HAS HIS UPS AND DOWNS-ITS NOT EASY BUT HE DOES A JOURNAL EVERYDAY TO HELP HIM. MAYBE THIS WOULD BE A GOOD WAY OF HELPING YOURSELF ALSO. PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR LIFE-I HAVE KNOWN SO MANY THAT HAVE DONE THIS AN IT IS SO SAD. LIFE IS WORTH LIVING-JUST HANG ON TO YOUR FAITH-IT IS THERE! TAKE CARE AND I WILL PRAY FOR YOU AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS ALSO.

No matter how hard things may seem, you are never alone. God id there for you. Allow him in and let Him manifest in your life. I have had similiar feelings to you when I was younger, know that in the end, you can triumph over all of the adversity and negative feelings set before you. Jesus, I pray that you heal your child and I bind up every negative thought and spirit that is not of you. I thank you in advance for your healing.
