Survivors Of Suicide
Children of Parents Who Suicided

When a parent chooses the act of suicide, it debilitates their surviving children, whom bear unsurmountable mountains of grief, shame, guilt, low self esteem, and mistrust of self and others.

For myself, my brother, and all the friends I have met who have had to deal with this awful reality, I pray for a sense of well being, the ability to love and be loved, a trust in the goodness of others, to overcome the issues of abandonment, and to not loose hope in themselves. I ask the healing spirit to touch each and everyone of our lives and fill us with a feeling of being lite as the heavy burdens we've carried for so long are removed. I ask that we know serenity, joy, and thoughts of happiness and optimism as we've never felt before. Spirit, I request that we all be healed and separate ourselves from our parent's acts that caused so much pain and that our parents are now at peace and in the light.
