Prayer Circles

Holy Lord, God of all creation. You are holy indeed, the fountain of all miracles. May Your will and Your way guide us all into the light of Your love. Protect your bishops and clergy of the Chaldean church, so that they may continue to minister to the faithful. Remember also our brothers and sisters in Islam, who also worship the one God, that their mosques and clerics be protected from harm, and that peace and reconciliation can emerge in an Iraq devoted to your sacred heart. Deliver us all from the evil that is war, and into the Peace you send your prophets to proclaim.

Heavenly Father, God Almighty-We pray for your divine protection against further harm and for healing to those who have been harmed in this conflict. Cloak us with a veil of understanding and write forgiveness and mercy on our hearts that we may never again perpetrate this evil on innocent and that we may never forget that You and You alone are the final judge of sin and evil. In the name of our saviour Jesus Christ we pray.
