Glenn Quinn
A soul tragically lost last December, best known for playing 'Doyle' in the TV series 'Angel', a much loved character.

Glenn was lost to us a while ago now, but I just wanted to open a circle in his memory.

As Doyle, Glenn lit up our screens as a lovable Irish half-demon, a perfect gentleman. The viscous wave of tributes and fan pages that appeared after Joss Whedon killed his character off after only five episodes told of our love for him. We had seen him for less than four hours, and we adored him. Later, I listened to the audio commentary on the 'Buffy' DVDs and heard Joss say that it was an experiment that he wanted to do - putting a character in the main credits of a new show and then drastically killing them off, just to see what the fans said. He admitted, "I made a lot of people angry, so maybe it wasn't such a good idea...".

Yes, we were upset when we lost Doyle. My best friend says that his last episode, 'Hero', is the most heartbreaking episode in all of 'Buffy' and 'Angel'. Up until now, I disagreed.

I may never be able to watch episode that again.

Peace, Glenn. We love you.
