"In 1999, I was in the internet business, with 40 sites and a long career as a broadcast journalist. My heart, however, was in continuing to operate my 10-year-old national non-profit helping youth, Streetcats. I had taken $100,000 of my own money to begin Streetcats, doing life-saving work on the mean streets of 3 cities with runaways and operating, a web site that reaches/counsels 2,000,000 youth and families.
