Prayers for all God's children who would be affected by war in Iraq

This prayer circle is for no war in Iraq. I'd like world peace, but at the moment I'd like to concentrate the world's power of prayer towards preventing this particular war.

War in Iraq could have devastating effects worldwide; bloodshed, illness, poverty, destabilization and retaliation. Despite opposition from the United Nations, most countries, and millions of American citizens, President Bush is going ahead with his agenda anyway.

So now, we literally need a miracle. I know how incredibly effective small prayer circles can be in creating miracles for individual's lives. Imagine what we can do if we gather millions across the globe, across all religions, to pray for peace in Iraq?!

In addition to joining this prayer circle online, may I suggest that every time we hear the word "war" in conversations, in the news, etc., we say a quick prayer for peace.

Finally, if anyone can translate this to other languages so this can reach across the globe, please do so.

God, if it's in your will, please guide President Bush and his administration towards peace, justice, cooperation, honesty and humility and away from war, greed, dishonesty and arrogance.

Bless the little ones they might feel your peace and not fear the world around them. Watch over the little ones that they might learn from the situation at hand to bring peace in the future with their own talents and good works. Bless those in Iraq serving those in need of medical attention, spirtual guidance, and physical protection. Bless them for the willingness to put their lives in danger to help your children. Bless us, no matter where we are in the world, that we might be able to make peace a part of our own hearts but make a difference in our own communities. Show us ways to provide to those in need whether it is food, clothing, shelter, spiritual guidance, or protection. Bless those who are already sacrificing time and money to provide handmade blankets to cold children, food to the hungry, and other talents to provide comfort, peace, and a reminder of your love. Help us remember, dear Lord, we make choices everyday that affect others and give us the opportunity to righteously influence our world leaders for good and peace. We thank thee for all the blessing you have given us and pray your blessings to be upon those in need of Thee this day in Iraq. Let us be a servant in thou's hand. Thy will be done. In the name of our loving savior, Jesus Christ, amen.
