- A DESPERATE PLEA FOR PRAYERS

My friend has been a victim of alcoholism for over 35 years. The longest time he has been sober has been 9 months. He is drinking now and he will probably end up in the hospital again. He is the most wonderful person when he is not drinking. Bless you.

	pattijg2003 4/25/2004 09:22	Knowing the vicsoius cycle of active addiction and the lifelong affects of family alcoholism myself,I am always reminded of the gift of willingness I have recieved so I stay sober,chemically and emotionally-I pray that a band of angels decend upon your friend and deliver this same mystery of joy I was given 14 years ago-In the meantime, if it is indeed the will of divine spirit take tme to nourish yours and get some help for you as the friend who suffers alongside wfhile witnessing this fatal progression-ALANON awaits you with open arms BLESSED BE THE LOVE IN YOU AND ME PATTI

	byubayb 8/29/2004 12:59	There is a way out of Alcholism. You are making the first steps for him by praying. God please allow this friend to find a AA meeting and find soberiety. I asked for help 21 years ago and have been sober every since. God works, He helped me and he will help you and your friend. Alcoholism is not a lack of morals but a illness.
