Zac V.
A friend who is suicidal and has had a hard life

This is a short version of what's going on in the life of one of my friend's who does not know the Lord. Please pray for him.

Hi I'm Janessa. My friend Zac is not saved & does not believe in God. He is bi-sexual & just broke up with his b/f Jaylin. Jaylin & Zac are both very suicidal people & have lost many of their loved ones to suicide. Jaylin feels he has nothing else to live for & wants to kill himself. Zac recently attempted suicide by drowning himself, but he didn't go through with it. Zac's father has abused Zac verbally & physically all his life & has done the same to his mother. Zac is in great fear of his father & has great hatred against him. Please pray that this marriege be kindled & that Zac's father repents of his sins & finds the Lord. Also that he & Zac have their relationship kindled. Today Zac's grandma is having surgery. (I am not quite sure what the surgery is for, but Zac is in great fear of losing her.) Please pray that the surgery goes well & that she lives. She has been like a mother to Zac all his life. May the Lord bless & keep all of you forever, Janessa

We're sorry Jaylin & Zac feel so badly right now. We wish we had more help to offer here, but it sounds as if they would benefit from talking to a caring person who is trained to help. We have three resources they could try. We hope they will contact one of them as soon as possible. They deserve to get help, and to get it sooner rather than later.

1. If they are in the U.S., call 1-800-SUICIDE any time, day or night to be connected immediately to a caring, trained counselor in their region. The sooner they make this call, the better.

2. If they can hold on for a few days, free anonymous crisis counseling is available by e-mail from an international charity called Befrienders International (known in this country as The Samaritans). By sending an e-mail to they will receive a caring response within 24 hours.

3. There is a website they may find helpful, called Suicide: Read This First.

They are in our prayers.

Wow to the above from Beliefnet. That's really cool. Praying for Jaylin and Zac that they find healing and love and that Zac's grandmother recovers to help him move into a happier, healthier life. Amen
