Unemployed and Discouraged

I would like to offer prayers and ask for prayers for my husband and our family.

My husband lost his job in October 2002. With the economy as is-jobs are not easy to find. I think the only reason we have come this far is because we love each other so much. We have 2 children-a 15 year old and a 4 year old. We are church goers and usually pray continuously. lately, I and my husband cannot even pray-we just basically go thru the motions with no meaning because we are so discouraged. I frequently do not sleep at night and when I do I have dreams of the bills and who will pay them-Creditors can be NOT SO NICE at times. I am trying to be strong, but now It is just that we have a hard time getting our kids what they need. We can barely afford groceries and my kids need new clothes. Please pray for our family and especially my oldest child-as his grades are going down because I know that he is worrying too.

	gorky6 5/13/2009 08:51	Charles A,Go to your local welfare office and ask for aid to families,foodstamps,and medical assistance.There is also low income medical clinics that you can go to.A local church should be able to help with the clothing issue or Burlington Coat Factory has clothes for all ages at reasonable prices,also Family Dollar,Salvation Army Thrift Stores also have good used clothing.Call 1-800-759-0700 they will pray for you.Tithe to God out of what you have.God only asks us to give what we have not what we don't have.Malachi says that if we give God our tithes and offerings he will open a window that a blessing will be so big we don't have room to contain it.
