This prayer circle is for all those whose lives have been affected by Pancreatitis.

Pancreatitis is a catastrophic, debilitating, and progressive disease that has no cure. It is excruciatingly painful. God, we lift to you those whose lives have been affected by this disease, those diagnosed, their families, caregivers, and advocates. Help us to know your love and awaken our senses to know your presence. Give us courage to take one day at a time. We lift our pain to you God that we may have, some relief from the daily agony. Open our hearts, fill the chambers with your love, turn our tragedy into triumph. Bless us with gratitude and awe for all the resources that we have today that those yesterday did not. Bless us with faith. Hold us up when we fall down, lay us down, when fear holds us up. Bless us with acceptance that we are able to name, claim, and embrace the journey that we have been given. Let us never forget that you will be by our sides, and when you are not, let us know we are in your arms. Bless us with the joy of living. Amen.

Gentle Spirit that embraces us all, thank you for the blessing of life. Give strength to those who suffer from this painful disease, so we who love them can draw upon their hope. Give hope to the caretakers, so those who suffer may find strength. Walk with us upon this path and guide us to the joy of creation. Amen.
