Father in need of a job

Father laid off and in dire need of a job

My father was laid off from his job in August and is in dire need of a job. He is no spring chicken, but rather a well-seasoned mechanical engineer who is hard-working, dependable and ready to work. He has received some interviews, but was turned down. He is fearful that his age, 61, is affecting his employment possibilities. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will touch the hearts of those he is seeking a job from or to lead my father to perhaps a career change. I'm afraid his hope is wavering. Thank you.

Dear Father look down upon this family with mercy. Help others to see the potential of this man who is trying to support his family. Help them to find the way to overcome their diversities while holding onto hope.
