Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, please open the hearts and mind of United Health Care, my health care providers. That they will see the desperate work that needs to be done in my mouth. That they too will put themselves in my shoes and decide unanimously in my favor to fix my mouth. Thank you Father, in the name of Jesus, for I know my prayers will have been answered. Amen. |

I've been there, and know the many emotional ups and downs dental problems like this (where insurance would seem to be the answer, can be. Not having insurance after many years, being alone and on SS, really made me turn to God, as best I could when I was in "worry/anxiety". I really found that taking it a day at a time, or even an hour at a time, works best. You have my prayers; dental problems like you're describing are a true test of our faith, arent' they? I was a Social Worker for 38 years, had insurance, and never needed such extensive dental work. Now that I do, I find being on Medicaid seems to place me in a "one down" position, where dental office personnel, much less dentists themselves, operate from. Remembering that God is in charge, that there is no situation that some concept of a Higher Power hasn't been my solace, is the only thing that works. You're in my daily prayers; please keep me in yours! Dental problems are definitely a situation that is simply difficult for those with "a good set of their own teeth", as they say, to understand. But I do, along with you, ask for everyone's prayers on this one. It's probably my 2nd biggest prayer need today. Blessings! |
