Faith and motherhood under attack!

My ex dumped me (after betraying my trust) and has my baby boy after his laywers railroaded me into a settlement. Please pray for us.

My ex and I started having problems over my newfound faith, increased self-respect (No more kinky sex, porn, overeating, neurosis, depression or helplessness) and my working a12 step program.

After six months of continued begging for him to go to therapy with me, I found that he'd broken my trust. (We had a monogamy agreement.)

When caught he agreed to go to counseling with me but only so he could set up a legal attack behind my back. He has taken my 2 year old son away (I'm allowed two weekday afternoons and every other weekend) cut me off financially, accused me of incompetence and negligence and has made it clear there will be no reconciliation.

I need prayers to stay focused and strong. To stick to the "high road" and keep my son out of this. To remember that I am loved. To remember that my ex was abusive, controlling and emotionally ill. To remember that NONE OF THOSE THINGS ARE MY FAULT.

I want to have patience, trust and knowledge that I'm not alone.

Father, please be with my sister. She is hurting and is in need of comfort. She is weak and is need of strength. She feels alone and longs for love and is in need of the love that only You can give. Wrap Your arms around her, comfort her, strengthen her, fill her with Your love and peace, pour out Your grace and mercy. Remind her that above all else that she is Your child and that You are her Father and You love her, and nothing else matters. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
