Prayer Circles

Kathy, I can feel your plight. I too am separated from my husband, this would be our 21st year of marriage. He's left me for another woman (has 5 children all by different men & never been married, plus ex-felon for manufacturing crank in home with children). I'm certain from his behaviors and irratic moods that he's also using. It's very sad. He initially left me after I discovered their affair mid November '02. He's come home 2x for only 1.5 weeks and then 5 days. Although I'm certain he's never given up this relationship. I can feel your pain. I too am devastated! My only love. It is sooooo difficult and hard to not feel isolated. But, push yourself to get to Church regularly, surround yourself with your truly good friends who will be supportive and yet honest with you. Finding a good counselor who is neutral can also help ease your mind and soul, help direct you down the right path. Ask your pastor or a friend's pastor where to find a good qualified counselor, as there are many out there that aren't good. (Believe me!) I will say a prayer for you. You may have to give up on your hopes of reconsiliation with your husband, which I too am struggling with. But, remember, "this is the day the Lord hath made..." Hold your head high, knowing God loves you and so do many others. Pray, read and study pertinent passages in the Bible, divulge yourself into the Word to keep you "sane" in this satanic and chaotic time in your life. Don't let him pull YOU down that wrong path. Take care of yourself, and who knows, maybe in weeks, months, years even, your husband may realize what a fool he's been and repent. By keeping your focus, you will be stronger and better able to handle the situation more calmly and rationally, plus better able to make GOOD decisions. God bless you and know you aren't alone.
