Husband is very Abusive, Physical and Mental abuse for 32 + years

I have been married to the same man for 32+ years. He is an Alcoholic, he is verbally, mentally and physically abusive.

I currently have three broken ribs, from my husband hitting me in anger, three weeks ago. This is not the first time.

I feel trapped in my own home and can't get out. I always stayed here because of the three children and now we have grandchildren.

I am asking for prayers to help me to get the strength to do the right thing,whatever it may be. To also, give my husband the strength to get his self in order and to be a better person by staying sober. I love this man with all my heart, but, I don't know that I am in Love anymore, after this last incident. I feel like a beat up punching bag and it has not been good.

I have now turned this problem over to the Lord, and now I am asking for prayers from all to give me strength and courage to fight this battle with a kind heart, I don't want any anger. When I look into his eyes I see the devil in them, it scares me. I don't want to fear this, I want strength to fight this, gently.

For the Love of God, I need help.

	anglfrmabv 11/12/2005 13:59	Dear IDerouen, I myself have gone thro this for 22 yrs of Abuse, but div this man in 1981 , stalking beatings guns, all these yrs, if you ever need to talk you may email me to talk, ccra_2001@msn.com, I Pray Father that you wipe this abuse out of this womans life & to show her the light, that there is alot more out there than staying in this abusive situation. I know Father that you are with her, n everyone here Father. Father I do Pray that she Finds the Peace that she needs, as Domestic Violence is a very serious act,, & Father I Know that you will Shower her with all of Your Graces. 	jazzrob01 1/20/2006 12:52	Dear Lord.. please be with this wife at all times... please give her soooo much of your strength to get out of this relationship. Guide her to tend to herself and not worry or feel compelled to take care of her husband... Please also help her husband get help.. Let him see his problem and seek help and not hurt anyone. Amen
