For my special munchkin with ESRD

This prayer circle is devoted to my niece, who has recently been diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), her family and potential donors.

"Paddie Wack" is a cute little girl who has recently been diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). This basically means her kidneys do not function as they should. She will undergo peritoneal dialysis until/unless she recieves a kidney transplant.

Not too long ago, this condition would be a death sentence, but with all the advances in treatment and dialysis, she will live... and should live rather well despite her situation.

But, this isn't going to be easy for Paddie Wack or her family, more specifically, those that are directly responsible for her care. Nor is it going to be easy for her donor.

Family members are going to be tested for tissue compatibility. We really hope we have someone among us instead of waiting on the donor list. If we have a family member lined up, the transplant can take place at anytime. On the list, it may not be there if she needs it.

Please pray for Paddie Wack, her family and potential donors. We are going to need every prayer we can get :)
