A prayer for all those suffering from chronic depression.

Dear Lord,
May thy children feel thy arms round about them. May your angels find them in the depths of their sorrow and depression and lift them to feel the sun on their faces again. Father please bless those who treat those with depression and mental illness that they will be kind and understanding. Bless us to find a treatment and a cure to put this scourge behind us. Bless thy children with knowledge of thy love for them and that tho we are deep in sorrow thy arms are reaching for us if we will but take thy hand. These things I pray in the name of thy son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord, I just lift them up to You to clear away the cobwebs that grow and infest themselves inside their hearts, and induce lies about who they really are. Father, I pray that You fill them with joy everlasting that can only come from You. Fill them with peace, and Your grace that includes where they've been. Thank you, Lord. Amen
