I pray that your sadness goes away quickly and permanently. I pray that you find happiness within that shines so bright your true self will glow.

Please don't give up... I know how overwhelming depression can be as I have suffered from it for many years. I pray that you will find the support system you need to get through each episode. If you don't have a therapist find one. I pray that God will send someone to you. Remember Jesus is there with you to help carry the load.

Dear Father, please bless Amy that she will feel Thy Love and peace in her life. Thy will be done in all things, Lord. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I pray that Amy Y will wake up and realize how much she is loved, that she is unique, special and individual. That she is not alone. That God is a very present help. I hope that she will experience Christ in her life uplifting and supporting her.

I can't say that I know how you feel because depression is different for everyone but I have been through it myself and I know that it is difficult to keep going on about your life. I pray that you find the peace that you are looking for. Amen

We come to You, Lord Jesus, the Prince of peace to shower Amy's spirit with your peace.
Lord Jesus, comforter of the afflicted, we pray that You will allow Amy to feel your healing presence everyday of her life, that You are always by her side.
Lord Jesus, the Divine Healer, wherever she may be, I believe in your power to reach her, may Your healing hand be upon her, I invite You to go back into her life, all the woundedness, the negativities, failure, disappointments, may You wipe them out. Lord may You give her the grace to let go of these experiences, to surrender them to You. As we pray for the healing of her memories Lord, we pray for the healing of her spirit, give her the grace to forgive those who caused her pain, and to forgive herself as you have forgiven her. Amy, I don't pretend to understand what you are experiencing. Please know that I love you as a piece of my own collective soul. I really believe that we are not alone in this world, but I couldn't say for sure who or what the higher power is, not what is his/her/its intention for us. I do know, however, that (like in the movie Moulin Rouge) the most important thing in life is to love and be loved. When I have been very sad, I have always found it helpful to find a way to be of service to helping others who are less fortunate than I. Even if it's just dishing out dinner at the local soup kitchen for a day. Bless you, Amy. -Chris

Amy, I have some idea what you are going through. I have suffered from depression on and off for most of my life and so did my mother and my son. It makes you think there is no light at the end of the tunnel and life is always going to me bleak and empty. I know from my own experiences that the people who tell you to snap out of it are wrong. It's not that easy. But I also know you can help yourself if you find the strength to do so. Be as active as you can. Be with positive, upbeat people as much as possible and feed off their attitude. Avoid people who bring you down. They may be in as much pain as you but the only thing you can do for them and still preserve your mental health is pray for them to find their way. Volunteer to help at a local shelter or group home or maybe in the pediatric department of the local hospital reading and playing games with the young patients there. Helping others will help you like yourself more and more self esteem is the key to lifting the cloud of depression. Good luck. I am praying for you.

Dear Amy, please know that you are not alone. There are always others out there who have or are experiencing similar things. The best thing you can do is express what you're going through verbally, in writing, through song, movement, or some other creative method. Remember, we must experience labor before we are blessed with new or renewed life. During times of depression, try to focus on the blessings that you KNOW will come, and keep moving forward. One.

Please hang in there. I know it is tough and sometimes you just don't think you can do it! But keep the faith and know that you are stronger than you think you are and that there is great joy to be had. It's in the little things like the blue sky, a rainbow after a rainshower, a telephone call from someone who loves you just to say hi. Take care of yourself and know that you are truly a special person who deserves to be happy.

Dear Amy, I pray that you will find peace. I struggled with depression for years, but now I am taking an antidepressant. It could be a chemical imbalance(Mine was). Hello fellow human experiencer,
There are so many bits of advice and/or guidance that would be appropriate , such as : pray, meditate, cry, therapy, shock treatment , medication.......................and so on. However , having suffered a severe deression that felt like a trap that I could not get out of ; the moe searching for remedies to stop the pain , the more pain and frustration came. There IS a gift in depression. It is a sign that some larger aspect of yourself is out of allignment with your true nature ( that would be peace believe it or not ) The gift is in recognizing that one or more ways that you were living were not in agreement with the deepest part of who you are . When you are ready to tell yourself the truth either the " right " remedy for the depression will appear and be willing to accept it when it does ( with out judgement) or grace will descend ( and i am not talking about th egrace associated with any oarticular religion i am speaking of the grace that resides in us all ) and you will be healed. A miracle is but a correction of a false perception we are having about ourselves or others. As i write this i get asense thatthese words will touch a place of hope in you . iam totally available if you would like to write . i am here in NY and i am a teacher on break . amy, you need to know where you stand... those demons of depression have no power of you. you are a child of god... you tell them to leave in jesus name. it will only work if you believe it will. don't let fear get to you. don't accept that.. something that will help to keep it from coming back is praer,reading,sing prasie god...

I do not what you are going through. I have also had problems with depression for sometime. I am now going through a very hard time with the depression. I have quit my job of 6 years that I worked so hard to move up in the company and now I feel I can not carry on. My family get tired of trying to help and the medicine the doctor has me on has made me gain weight which is a big problem in my eyes even though my husband says its no big deal. I say keep on taking one day at a time and never give up. Some people do not take depression serious but I do. I know the feelings you are going through and its hard to carry on but I try to look at it this way, My life could be alot worse than what I think it is now. Please take one day at a time and know that your not alone and that it is real. Its not all in your head. God loves you and we all do too.
