Married for 38 years and don't want to give it up.

We have been married for 38 years and we are living like strangers in the same house...

My husband and I are living in the same house...but we are like strangers. I believe that he has been unfaithful for at least the last year. He won't talk about it so I don't know what to do. He gets very angry if I bring it up. I have been in a deep depression for the last year because of this. I still love him and he says he loves me...I do not want to divorce him...but I don't want to live this way. I have been praying to the Lord to show me what to do. I pray that we can find love again...a stronger and more committed love. Please pray for us. We have a beautiful family and I do not want to split it apart.

	iamcolette 1/10/2001 10:44	dear misscakes,i read your prayer and my heart went out to you. may i suggest that instead of discussing the problems you are having with your husband start talking about the times when you were dating. ask him if he remembers certain special events or private times that you shared. the early years of your marriage, hard times that you survive together. maybe he needs to go back and find what it was that brought you 2 together in the first place. dont give up.god is on your side

	marymahon 2/6/2001 16:25	misscakes, I understand the insecurities that u must be feeling. Ur husband perhaps is reacting to getting older. The Lord has brought u together and still has plans for you both. Continue to pray, He will answer. May the Lord God give you the strength to stay with your marriage and may the light break through soon. Ur love has not been in vain and ur husband will soon realise that he has made a mistake. May God answer you soon.
