To all of you.....I am not a diabetic (yet) but it runs in my family......and friends for that matter. But what I wanted to say was one of them now has an insulin "pump"? I think that is what it is called and she is much much happier with it. No more daily shots for her. I'm guessing this info isn't new to any of the Diabetics out there I just wanted to share what I knew about someone having one. Blessings to you all..........and may a cure come soon as for two of the people I know are under the age of 12yrs.

THIS IS SISTER TEARESA. CAROL I GOT TO KEEP IT REAL BECAUSE I TOO GOT DIABETES.
I HAVE DIABETES FOR 13 YEARS AND I STARTED WITH SHOTS THEN PILLS THE SHOTS NEXT SHOTS AND PILLS.MY SUGAR LEVEL WAS 400 AND I TOOK REGULAR INSULIN 30 UNITS AND I WAS SICK. I TURNED TO THE LORD AND I WENT FROM 148PDS TO 200PDS TO 300PDS. I CRYED WHEN MY HUSBAND CALLED ME FAT AND I HAD YEAST INFECTION FROM TO MUCH SUGAR. I HAD TO LOSE 100PD.I WENT WITHOUT MEAT FOR 6MONTHS AND I EXCERCISE 4 TIMES A WEAK. I VISIT EVERY BATHROOM I PASSED MY BECAUSE I WAS LOSING WEIGHT AND I STOPPED EATING SUGAR AND SWEET UNLESS MY SUGAR WAS TOO LOW. I CRYED ALL NIGHT SOMETIMES AND NOBODY EVEN MY HUSBAND KNEW BUT THE FIRST MONTH WAS HARD. MY SUGAR BEEN ALRIGHT NOW FOR 3YEARS. I HADN'T TOOK A SHOT OR PILLS IN 3 YEARS.I TOOK A STAND WITH GOD HELP.GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN, AND WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

Father, I ask you to bless Carroll P. and to let her know your perfect healing. Please guide and direct her in all of her ways and let her know that you are with her. Bless also the other persons who have taken time out to pray for her. I also ask you to heal my mother, my brother and myself from diabetes. Dear Carol, I do pray for you. I am all to familiar with diabetes. My 12 year old daugher was diagnosed with type 1 almost 2 years ago. It has been very difficult to deal with keeping sugar levels under control. She has gone as low as 40 and as high as 500. I have faith in GOD that there will be a cure for all diabetics very soon. In the meantime we will continue to pray.

Carol, bless you and our disease! I felt as if I was reading an OLD (YES OLD) description of myself!! I was in the same predicament you're in now! Several times did I have to be rushed to the hospital for ketoacidosis.....YUCK! I was 9 years old when first diagnosed and going on 29 this year. I've never gone without shots until last year when I had had enough. As frustrated as I was, my fiancee kept me going. Please look into the pump. For the first time last summer I was able to go on vacation and not worry about eating at specific times. Above all I was able to go on a 4 hour rafting trip. I didn't know whether to cry or laugh I was so happy. I do highly suggest looking into the getting the pump from Minimed (a company who specializes in the pump who also is very willing to work with you on payments!) I've never had such great control! A1C's dropped from 9.8/10 to 6.8/7.0. Good luck and God bless. Prayers from Kansas!

I sincerely pray for u.. I lost my father just last year and all his complications were due to diabetes.. I know how it can be.. During all those trying times, my mother and I were helped so much by God's presence and God sent us the right people and right tools at the right times. My father lived that long because of that. Heavenly Father I pray today that you will shine your light on Carol and all who has diabeties. I pray that they will soon find a cure for this awfull disease and all diseases of the world.
