Need support as an aspiring musical performer

I am a musician here in Seattle who is struggling to get established in this profession, and to work with other musicians whom I admire. I wish for moral support and defense against unsupportive attitudes.

Hello, everyone. I'm facing some challenging point-A-to-point-B situations in my professional life, as well as the desire to work with a fellow musician as a collaborator, when he doesn't yet know much about my abilities and background. I need support and encouragement in finding paying work as a folk musician and songwriter, in finding ways to get my first recordings out into the world, and in dealing with some very unsupportive relatives (as well as others who don't understand people with out-of-the-ordinary goals and aspirations). Please help me with positive energy, prayers, good thoughts, or whatever positive and supportive spiritual practice you are drawn to. Mostly I need to develop more confidence, gather supportive people/energy around me, and to receive guidance on effective paths to take to accomplish the things I need to do musically in my life. Thank you!

Remember, not everyone will "understand" or like what you sing/write. however, as long as you believe 100% in yourself and in your music, the wait will be no more, ur confidence will show through your music. The best of luck to you, never give up on your dream, because in turn u will be giving up on God and his gift he gave to you. God Bless!
