Sick with Cancer

A grandmother battling breast cancer...

Please remember my grandmother in your prayers. She is has been battling breast cancer for several years, and now, it's really starting to bring her down. She hasn't been eating because the different medications she's been on, makes everything taste terrible, and what she does eat (like broth and so on), doesn't stay down. As of now she weighs less than 100lbs, so my mother is putting her in the hospital today, so she can have a decent chance to fight this. She is the only grandmother I have known, and a very strong woman of God. Please pray that God will lift her spirits, heal her, and make her whole again. Thank you.

	javadic 10/29/2002 22:33	My mother was also named Geneva, and before I read the date on this, I thought my nephew, Jacob, had posted it before she died. The story is the same, exactly the same. This one has reduced me to tears. Lord, I pray with all my heart for this Geneva, not my mother, but a mother and grandmother well-loved, also a mother and grandmother of strong faith, who battles this horrible disease as did my own mother, Geneva. I pray You give this mother and grandmother, also Geneva, the healing You chose to withhold from my own mother, Geneva, because You wanted her with You and chose to take her home. I pray You let this mother and grandmother, Geneva, have more time with the family that loves her so. In Jesus precious and all-powerful name, the Name that is above all names, Amen.
