teen girl afraid of disapointing her family

I am a 16 year old girl who is in desperate need of support. It seems that whatever I do is just never good enough for my family.

My mother and father are constantly telling me that I am stupid and that I can never do anything right.( I know they don't mean it). I feel so lost and I feel like a failure constantly. I have a 3.1 GPA and I really want to go to a good school such as UCLA, UC daivis Etc. I graduate on 2003. I wish the lord would give me the strengh and the passion to study and get my grades up so I can acomplish my most desired dream of going to a good college. That is all I care about, but I am afraid I won't be able to acomplish my goal. I hope the lord forgives me for snapping at my parents constantly. I really want to have a good relationship with them and show them that i am not a failure. I also hope that My parents and I can go more than one day without haveing a argument over a silly subject matter. I hope I will be able to acomplish my dream with your prayers. God bless.

You just don't listen to it. You keep up your studying and you go to college and make something of yourself, and you keep on proving to them that you are not stupid. OK! You keep on looking to the Lord for your strength and you never ever give up. Just remember that God is there when nobody else is. I promise God will never leave you. Just remember Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. God, I just ask that you help this young girl overcome her obstacles.
