A prayer for those who must make decisions, but have forgotten who they are and what they want and need. For those who have always made decisions based on others' needs & desires - may they now realize their own desires & needs.

All my life I have let others decide where I live and how - what I need and, it is time to take over my life and after 65 yrs, this new experience is somewhat frightening and actually confusing. There is hardly a clear idea of what I want to do - and only some idea of what needs to be done. It is pretty weird to be on ones own suddenly and without too many resources to fall back on. It is also difficult to ask for help, because I've never even had to do that! So, all I really ask for here is a better understanding of myself, so that I can move out and forward.
