Prayer Circles

Dear Lord, please show this woman the way to persevere. Open her eyes to see what a wonderful thing she is doing by trying to improve her life as well as her daughter's. Renew her strength. Give her the wisdom she needs to excel. Help her find the proper resources to help her through this difficult time. Most of all, let her find her faith in herself and also in you. Let her see that through You, all things are possible. All this in Your name, AMEN.

Dear Father God,
I pray for Nikki to be strong in You, empowered through her union with You; to draw her strength from You, that strength which Your boundless might provides. (Ephesians 6:10)

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please wrap Nikki is your love and give her that Peace that passes all understanding. Father, help her see only the positives in her life, like that beautiful child and that fact that she is taking steps necessary to make life better for both of them. Help her Dear Lord to face the feeling of insecurity with the knowledge that she is capable of all things through you. In Jesus' wonderful name I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Please help nikki to understand that depression is an illness. Help her to realize that, just like diabetes, Parkinson's Disease or any other illness, she needs help. Show her the way to the counselors and medical professionals that can help to treat her illness the way it should be treated. Let her know that, besides all the "amazingly together" individuals she runs into on a daily basis, there are many many more just like herself. Often those "amazingly together" types of people end up sicker than the rest of us. Please also help Nikki to know that, instead of trying to be "in control" of her life and her surroundings, she can become healthier and happier if she just lets go and gives all control to You. Dealing with life's ups and downs as they come and trusting in You has helped me with my depression all these years Lord, but only because I sought out those who could help me. I pray you'll "shove" those kinds of people under Nikki's nose, too, Lord, just like you did mine. In your name I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please be with Nikki and her daughter and grant them peace of mind. Please let her know that you understand how she feels and that You will help her in her efforts to build a better life for herself and her daughter. Please grant her the help from depression that she needs and guide her in all paths of her life. Let her trust You completely. In Jesus name, AMEN

Dear Nikki, the Lord did not put you in a situation to hurt you. You mistakenly assume that your life is worth less for some reason than the life of someone who has it all. This is not the case. It is normal to feel frustrated as you do, because that is how we learn to be better and better. A diamond is only a gem because it has endured a tremendous amount of friction. So think of what is going on as a polishing process and let yourself become a diamond, for the sake of your precious daughter, but more for your own sake. Let God do the polishing and don't escape His efforts. You will truly appreciate what He has in store for you! God bless!

God has blessed you so, he is still molding you to his perfection, I think you are an Incredible Mother/Women to keep reaching and trying to improve the world for someone other then yourself, to think of others before ourselves what a gift to share and give your Daughter, no money in the world can buy what you have, God has blessings in abundance Nikki now you just need to believe that, and once that happens then maybe the world you see, might start looking like the view your daughter has. and I bet at 5 years of age her view is beautiful, I pray God helps your view become that of a childs, God knows your heart Nikki God will answer your prayers he provides all of everything Stay strong and at peace Amen.

my husband and I were missionaries and had to come back to the states due to my depression and anorexia. I have thought about and attempted suicide in the past but I really want to focus on Jesus and put this eating disorder and depression behind me. Please pray for the strength to make this happen.

Nikki, I know a little about how you feel about yourself and pray you will be able to see yourself as God sees you...made in his image. Keep the faith, we are all in this together!

Nikki, I am a 25 yr. old single mother with a 3yr. old daughter who has recently been saved. Like you, I am attending college to provide a better life for my daughter and myself. I try to follow the word of God, but still have obsticles in my way. No, I do not suffer from depression, but I do have a very low self-esteem. Just know that you are not alone. I will keep you in my prayers. God will see you through.

Heavenly father,
I just pray for this young mother. Lord, please give her the strength she needs to be able to go to school and tackle the classes and work that is put in front of her in order to obtain her degree. Lord, give her strength to understand what the instructor is saying and allow her to understand and comprehend what she reads. She is smart Lord and I am just asking for you to guide her and allow this dream and goal of hers to come to pass. Give her strength with her daughter and allow her to find her place in your kingdom. Lord, please bless her with love, joy, peace, and happiness. In Jesus name I pray.

Dear Nikki,
I want you to know that you are not alone. I can only imagine the stress you
are under. I too have depression and know the way it affects your thinking.
Depression is really tough to deal with.
I do offer you some advice and encouragement.Keep hanging in there. Pray, do yoga, meditate and listen to
soothing music like David Lanz. It helps
me by centering me so I can deal with life and to find joy in life.
Also what I great role model you are for
your daughter. You are showing her to take a tough situation and set goals and have dreams and do it . God is there and is with you right now. He is in your daughter and the simple kindness of others. So many times in my life I see his presence and I marvel at how he really does love us all. Dear Nikki, I can feel your pain, as I was once in your shoes. I, too, am a single mother. As you, I felt I needed to pursue a higher education for the benefit of my son. I struggled, boy did I struggle, and in the end I did not make it. I was weak. Throughout my nursing education, from the pre-requisites all the way to cardio/pulm (only had cardio and trends to finish!!), God was there! He may not show Himself outright, but let me tell you...he put people in my life that helped lighten my load, he put unexpected checks in my mailbox...just when I thought..."how am I going to feed my son?" He came through for me time and time again!! I will go back to nursing one day when my son is in college perhaps. I was weak and gave into the "burnout!" My prayer for you is simply this...May God protect you and your daughter, may He guide you through your studies, may He give you the STRENGTH needed to be successful in your endeavors with nursing, may He send you wonderful angels in disguise, and may He fill your heart and mind with love, enough love for yourself, your daughter, and your patients! Nursing is a beautiful experience and a wonderfully spiritual way to help those who are sick. I am now a business owner (medical transcription), so my choices did not apparently match with His at this time...lol I will pray for you and your daughter everday until you graduate, and graduate you must do!! Feel free to contact me anytime!! I will tell you the story of the butterfly! Similar to the diamond one above :) I will pray for you every night for Him to give you the strength and endurance you will need. I met some really amazing "angels" during my 7 year course and I am sure if you think about it...you have some "angels" hanging around too :) God Bless you Nikki and I will pray for Him to be with you always!! I also battle with depression, but I find it helpful to do for others when those feelings come around...volunteer work takes my mind off self blame and doubt. There are a lot of needy people/children that could use a good person in their life...and you are wonderfully unique and wonderfully gifted...God made you and that alone make you a very Special Person!! Butt Prints in the Sand
One night I had a wonderous dream,
One set of footprints there was seen.
The footprints of my precious Lord,
But nime were not along the shore.
But then some stranger prints appeared...

Those prints are large and round and neat,

Father hear our prayers,
I pray for this young lady. Father you know what is going on in her life and has been going on. For depression is of the enemy. Father you never fail us, you only uplift us. May her joy not be robbed from her. May she seek the help she needs by turning to you and others of faith. May she keep her heart & mind open to positive things in her life and not look back. Nikki, I've also been fighting depression for most of my adult life, and know how difficult it can be. The one thing that always keeps me going is knowing that God has a special plan for my life, as He does for yours, your daughter's, and every one of His children.
