why do i want to die

please pray for me. i just feel as if i want to die

for 14 years now i've always wanted to die. i know it wrong.i dont understand why i feel this way. i've prayed for years for god to show me the way. i have attempted suicide several times. i just get upset and get the urge.
i get so tired of living like this so i think i'll end it all. then i start thinking no i cant try again. afraid this time it will work . but the urge is so strong.
i keep thinking what am i doing wrong in life. not praying enough,going to church enough. or is it hte devil just trying to break me down.please just pray through these rough times for me
