Prayer Circles

Today I am grateful for:
- a job that allows me to be productive and always learning new things
- plentiful food
- a mind that is inquisitive and perceptive
- my sister Courtney who loves me
- the ability to think and reason

Today I am grateful for:
- being able to set an appropriate boundary
- having my good friend Ray
- doing good work in my first therapy session
- getting a good night's sleep
- meeting new people

Today I am grateful for:
- serendipitously reconnecting with good friends
- being able to enjoy being with myself
- recognizing that another's rude behavior does not mean there is anything wrong with me
- hearing and appreciating good music
- having a sweet kitty in my lap

Today I am grateful for:
- a deep conversation with my women friends
- finding a new spiritual place of worship
- deepening my friendship with Pariah
- feeling compassion and forgiveness for a person who hurt me
- my toes warming up after being REALLY cold

Today I am grateful for:
- Having the intellect to learn new things
- Having friends who care about me and want to take me to dinner
- Finding new ways to do my hair
- Being appreciated by my manager at work
- Having activities to look forward to

Today I am grateful for:
- having had a great night's sleep
- sunlight shimmering through the trees
- having a breath-taking view of the Cascades Mountains from my apartment window
- my hair seeming to undergo another (less curly) transformation
- a feeling of true peace and contentment

Today I am grateful for:
- having my friend Matthew get in touch with me after almost two years
- having a great time with my friend Ray
- being able to sleep
- feeling at the end of my eating binge
- feeling the wind in my face as I walk around Green Lake

Today I am grateful for:
- Having gotten back in touch with dancing and how much I love it
- seeing where I have an opportunity to truly forgive my parents
- appreciating the decency in another and not making it mean something about me when they are not attracted to me
- enjoying moving to music again
- having the courage to face my fears and anxieties even a little bit

Today I am grateful for:
- having women friends I can hang out with and talk to about heart matters
- having a sister who loves me and is willing to listen when I am hurting
- having a voice to sing and a heart that is moved by singing
- knowing that choosing is ok
- being able to sleep

Today I am grateful for:
- accomplishing a lot at work and feeling competent
- having some closure with Pariah and sharing honestly my feelings
- being ok with whatever happens
- having a little more control over my eating
- feeling the ice in my heart loosening just a little bit

Today I am grateful for:
- sharing a meal with five wonderful women
- arriving safely at work
- having the energy to do my work
- receiving a letter from Yiressy, my little Angel
- a warm home

Today I am gratful for:
- my new patient, Krista
- a letter from a very special little girl
- the beauty of late afternoon sunshine on the trees
- the taste of fresh, cold water
- an active imagination
