I need to allow myself to give up a failing friendship that has been dead for the past 5 years....

I am at a point where I need to let go of the person that I thought was my best friend. She is never there when I need her especially if she is involved with a man. She has proven to me time and time again that I can't count on her but I am stuck at a place where I just can't let go. I am getting older and I need someone I can depend on in my time of need. We have been friends for 15 years but I just don't trust her anymore. I have prayed about it but I just don't know how to leave it in God's hand. It is hard starting over but I have to. The way we've been lately I can't even call her my best friend it is out of habit but I truly need to move on. In the past I have quit things cold turkey but I just can't seem to do this with this person. So please pray for me to let this unhealthy relationship go. I don't want to block my blessings of a new found relationship.

LORD PLEASE LEAD THIS PERSON INTO THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND IN MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION WHEN IT COMES TO HER SO CALLED BEST FRIEND. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO DISTANCE YOURSELF FROM NEGATIVE PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WHO DONT BE AROUND FOR YOU BUT WANTS YOU TO BE AROUND FOR THEM. JUST PRAY ON IT AND DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU. LORD BLESS THIS PERSON THANK YOU AMEN
