drugs have torn this family apart

Now a single mom, living in a new city with two boys, wanting to be with the father, knowing it is not good.

The father has an adiction to money and drugs. He has been growing marijuana and selling it for some time now. The mother knew it was wrong, and left with the two boys (10 and 6). She moved over 500 km away from dad. She wants to spend the rest of her life with him, but he needs to change. Please pray that she will continue to have the courage to do it on her own, and please pray that he will change, so this family can be whole again.

MY SON FATHER IS ON DRUGS BAD AND NEED NEEDS HELP . I LOVE HIM BUT I CAN NOT PUT HIS SON THROUGH ALL THIS PAIN AND SUFFERIN. SO COULD YOU PRAY FOR MY FAMILY THAT THE LORD MAY TAKE AWAY HIS NEED FOR THE DRUG IF ITS IN HIS WILL . I WANT TO SEND OUT MY BLESSING TO THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE GOING THRU THE SAME THING. DRUGS CAN BE A UGLY THING TO LIVE THROUGH IF YOU ARE NOT THE ONE USING .MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

hi angel
i know exactly what you are going through. i have been going through the same thing. i hope we can talk to each other and help each other through this very difficult and painful experience. i need someone to talk to as well. i am in so much pain for loving and caring about someone with a drug addiction, he has gone to treatment but when he comes back after a couple of weeks he goes right back to the same pattern. i have two sons also. he has taught them so many posivive things and they became very attached to him. now he has stolen so many things from the house, and the last thing he stoled was my sons bike which he bought him for christmas. and now he has disappeared with my car. i am so depressed. i feel like such a fool. nobody understands what i am going through. drugs are an ugly thing. you are so right. i hope you will write back to me so we can talk and give each other strength, hope and positive visions for the future. free of drugs in our lives. it is such a devastating experience, to love someone with this problem.
my prayers are with you and your son.

Hi, I need your prayers as well. I'm the mother of one son & one daughter. My husband has been doing drugs, mostly marjuana for years. I'm also a victim of domestic violence. I woke up about 3 this morning & decided I will not hide my feelings & secrets anymore. I realized it only helps my husband getting away with his troubles. I decided to stand up, open up, & tell as many friends & church members to pray. I put my husband in God's hands. I'll pray for you, you pray for me. May God's Will be done.

i pray that god will give you the strength to continue on your own and to come to the understanding that he will probably never change. i know that is not what you want to hear, but my daughter and her children lived through the same thing for years. he would put her and the children in danger and turmoil. our family tried to help him for years, but he finally broke completely. he finally broke and put all of the family at deaths danger for a day and night. he was shot and killed by a drug friend of his trying to break in his home. we miss him but he did love the lord so maybe he is finally safe along with his family. so please continue to fight the battle alone

Eternal and Everlasting God, Our Father,
Thank you for your grace and mercy. What a privilege tocome to you in prayer knowing that you hear our prayers and answer them. I pray for the salvation of souls. pray for strength to accept the things that we cannot change, remembering that you, O God, can do all things. Forgive us for our sins and give those of us who can help others the wherewithall to do it thru prayer...thus witnessing to Your goodness. Let us tell the story of Jesus and His love and how he saves to the uttermost. Help us to convince mankind that God so loved us that He gave His only begotten Son to die for the sins of the world so that each person would not have to pay the debt for his own sins. There are some situations wherein only You, Dear Lord can intervene and work Your perfect will. Do so Lord Jesus for those who have prayed so.bless, protect and keep our children and our youth. Save souls and give us to know that Eternal Life is thru Jesus Christ alone.

Father God. Please keep your hand upon this family, as they struggle with a hard part of your plan for them. Please help the father to find strength in you to overcome his addiction, and just be with the Mother and children in their time of need. Walk with them now and always I pray, in Jesus name. Amen.

Dear Lord help those people in need. They have not found you yet, but are like lost sheep trying to fill their empty lifes with drugs, helping them to try to fill the void that they feel because they have not found you yet.
Please give their friends the strengh and courage to show them their wrong doings. That the path they chosen is wrong and only leads to destruction.
Please help the lost sheep find their way back within your folds.

I'm going through the same situation with my fiance'. He goes into treatment then whe he come out he does the same thing again. I keep telling myself that this is the last time I can't live like this anymore. He was responsible for my car being stolen, he has a new job but his first paycheck he has taken and stayed out all night using drugs until all the money is gone. I told him this is the last time i can't do it any more. I told him whhen he gets his next paycheck he has to leave. If I have to do everything myself I don't want him here with me living off of me and not contributing to our livelyhood. Allways taking and not giving back. What I don't understand he loves the church and will go every sunday whe he is able. I asked him what he prayed for when he goes up for prayer he told me he prays for other people. I asked him if he ever prayed for himself he said no. I told him if your faith in the lord is a strong as you say iit is why don't you ask gaod to take this addition from you, you only need to ask and believe that you will recieve it. I pray to god that he will get help from the lord because I do love him but we can't go on the way we are going. So you see I understand very well what you are going through i am living it everyday. My paraers go out to yo and you family and hope you will add me to yours.

I pray that all those families suffering in this manner be blessed by the Creator and find peace and security in their lives. May God grant all of us who suffer her eternal love and kindness; may she stop the endless cycles of hurt and pain and bring us, one another together, in love under her guidance so that we may all find the peace we all so long for. Blessed Be.

I want to solicit the prayers of everyone in this prayer circle. I am at my wits end regarding my husband's use of drugs and alcohol. This has been going on for the past ten years and there seems to be no end to this destruction. My husband and I were together for eight years before we broke up because of his drug use. we were not married at the time. We recently got back together after 2 years of separation and got married soon after our getting back together. When we decided to get back together, I thought things were going to be different. My husband was clean for a year before we got married and all he talked about was serving the Lord and wanting to please God and not live in sin and that he wanted a wife to do the same. I believed in him. It wasn't long after we got back together before he started to use drugs again. I married him anyway. Since we have gotten married, I have tried to honor my committment to our marriage. I have prayed and prayed with no relief. I hurt all the time and I am so dissolusioned. I feel as though God has deserted me. I don't know where to turn and I have no one to talk to. I have a lot of friends and supportive family, but I am ashamed for them to know that I am in the same rut again. I feel like a fool to have believed that this man would be different. Please pray for me and my husband. I do love him and I want our marriage to work. I want to stop hurting.

After being divorced for 13 years I met my Prince Charming last April. We have spent everyday together since then. He once told me that I was the answer to his prayers and that I have changed his life completely...theis man that has professed his love for me and asked for my hand in marriage has decieved me all along...you see, he is addicted to Cocaine and I had no clue! I ask you pray for him, that the Lord will chase away the desire for this deamon! I ask for your prayers for his children, that they will not follow in his footsteps and finally, I ask that you pray for me because I am completely devostated, I can honestly say that I have never felt hurt and disappointment like I do today. thank you

I am a single mother, too, who is recovering from addiction. The father's of my children are also addicts. Please know that often these people do not change. This may sound pessimistic, but I have gone through this for 9 years with one of these men and he was just released from prison last week. He is not going to change. The only reason I changed is because the Lord decided that my children should be taken away from me by Social Services and I should go to jail. This does not affect a lot of people, but it did me. I am now sober and able to take care of my children without their fathers. I feel that it is best that their fathers not be in their lives. I will pray for this woman and her children to have stregth to live thier lives.

I would like to pray for this family as well as ask for prayer,my family is going through the same thing.I have seen my whole family struggle with drugs including myself.I never thought that drugs would play such a big part in my life, but it has stripped all goals and promises I've made to myself. My entire family excluding my father is on drugs. It has really changed everything, and no one is taking the first step of admitting it.I have so many thoughts of getting myself together and hoping my family would start trying too.I find myself so depressed, and miserable,it's hard to concentrate on anything else.I just want to ask GOD for strength and courage,in guilding my family and me into a world,of success and happiness. All I can do is or on me and let everyone else work on them.....

Heavenly Father,
I pray for this precious sister and her children. I ask for a hedge of protection around them, for your blessings and direction in their lives and for peace and comfort. Lord I pray also that all their needs be met according to your word and that they suffer no lack. I pray for this husband, that the Holy Spirit would begin a mighty work of conviction in his heart that he may repent of his sins, repent of his wrong doings and surrender his life completely to you. I ask this in Jesus Name and thank you Lord in advance.
