Prayer Circles

Hi Brenda & Steve!

My wife & I suffer from primary & wholly unexplained infertility. We did AIH, 9 IVFs & 2 FETs before we understood that while God was certainly hearing our prayers (we even went to Samuel's tomb, just north of Jerusalem; we live in Israel), His answer was, "No." Well, it wasn't exactly, "No." He has blessed us with two marvelous boys, both of whom we adopted. I often wonder why God has decided that DW & I were not to have our own biological children. I know that such as I can never understand such a thing but if part of it was that we should be parents to these two boys, then I am content and I praise Him, the Source of All Blessings. I pray that God grants you the strength & clarity of thought to understand what His purpose for you is. I pray that He blesses you with happy & healthy children. I pray that He helps you to realize that your worth as human beings, as a couple, as His children, is not predicated on how well your reproductive organs function or on anything but the content of your character; it took me a long time to figure this out.

to brenda and steve, I have 2 wonderfull children but both of their own biological fathers have left me. And I've been raising them alone since they were babies. Now Im thnakfull even tho Im a single mother and disabled of lifetime lung disease. You should be thankfull you have each others and talk to Jesus and tell him your situation. I'll pray for you both tonight that may God Bless you both to become a very good parent to such a beautiful baby that your hoping for, amen.

GOD KNOWS THAT YOUR NEVER TOO OLD TO BEAR CHILDREN,I HAD GOTTEN PREGNANT WITH MY SON AT THE AGE OF 38/1/2. I HAD ALOT OF SCAR TISSUE FROM PREVIOUS SURGURIES BUT GOT PREGNANT ANYWAY.I REALLY PRAY THAT YOU WILL CONCIEVE SOON,SOMETIMES OLDER MOMMIES MAKE REALLY GOOD MOMMIES,DONT GIVE UP. To PatWnannw: I had not looked at my prayer circle for sometime now, and came across it today. I want to thank you for your encouraging words of getting pregnant at my age, which is now 49. We are in our 5th IVF transfer to take place this year, 2005 around the end of June. This time, all things are looking positive as this is a frozen embroyo being donated to us. I know it will not be our biological baby, but I can at least experience the birthing process and pregnancy and my hubby and I can now experience the joys and loves of parenting a child in the admonition of the Lord. Afterall, we are just raising His children, as they are all jewels in His eyes. Do not know why God allows us to wait so long for our prayers or why He does what He does. But I remember that His ways and thoughts are not our ways or thoughts. He sees the bigger picture and always has our best in His plan for our lives.
Trust you are keeping well too! Thank you again. We will pursue this promise!!
